I chose the hotel based on location, facilities and price, only disappointed by the location of the pool, very isolated by access.

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever been in. Felt like a 5 yr old as there was a plastic sheet under the blankets. Not that there was a view, but the windows were filthy. All doors were chipped. One lift working and only came to our floor after going to all other floors first. Breakfast was poor. Have stayed here before and never had this

The housekeeping and front desk staff was excellent. The restaurant staff, especially at breakfast hour need to improve a lot. Very rude and unhappy doing their job.

Lovely hotel. Close to the CBD and courts. Staff were polite. Issues with lift during my stay, but staff working diligently to fix, and minimise interruptions

Air conditioning was not working for 2 of the 5 nights stay, which really affected our visit, as we had outside temps of 40° plus, we were just as hot in the room. We had 2 adults 2 kids but every time the room was cleaned they only provided 2 towels (sometimes 3), only twice did we get a bath mat, the kettle was burnt black and smelt like urine! The iron was left upside down hanging in the cupboard which leaked all over the carpet in the cupboard, and unfortunately the cleaner had incredibly bad BO so much so that the whole hallway smelt, and so did the room after she’d been inside. It’s a shame because the price and location were fantastic. And the room itself was clean and tidy.

House cleaners, helped themselves into my room. Did not like that they just walked in. The room had holes in the walls. The pool was down for maintenance. The pool is not long enough to do laps if you like to do exercise. The pool is also small. It doesn’t take many people before it feels crowded. 5 maximum in the pool might feel comfortable. The front desk people were nice, helpful and friendly. The restaurant service is good too

Old facilities, shower temperature hard to manage, bathroom door and shower door got stuck together. No towels at the pool The pool was hard to find and get up to. Very poor that we needed to pay for parking when we were staying less than 24hrs

Very nice centrally located hotel in the centre of Perth City, with access to very good amenities such as gym and pool. Excellent room service too !

The hotel room was not clean when we checked in . The toilet was dirty and dark yellow wee stains were around the toilet floor and I had to clean it. Also, the curtains were dirty, and the carpets had horrible stains . Lastly , the fan in the bathroom didn’t work the room would steam up .

Unpleasant stay
Two light globes not working in my room. Air conditioning does not appear to be working properly, too cold even after setting temperature at 24 degrees centigrade. Air vent very noisy, I needed ear plugs to go to sleep. One of two lifts not working so long waiting time for lift service.

This hotel is in a good location for visiting Perth. Easy access by walking or public transport. Breakfast a bit hit & miss e.g. items not replenished quickly enough or cold. No hairdryer in the room. Safe in wardrobe but we had to stand on a chair to reach it. Overall though we enjoyed our stay there

The staff were 5*, but lose a star due to not doing anything about the state of our room (really bad mould and shower door was missing). This hotel is in the CBD and at night, the homeless crazy people like to fight and argue (of course the Mercure can not control this). Pool area was nice. The Buffet breakfast downstairs was less than average, do not recommend. The Wifi was awful, would not call it highspeed, more like "dial up", yes, its that bad.
