Well situated

Pros: Comfy bed Location Cleanliness of room and hotel facilities
Cons: Better sound proofing Bathroom looked a little tired
Location: Next to Swan river Small inlet with trendy cafes 10 minutes away.
We thought this looked like one of the top hotels in Perth. It is looking a little tired in places. Staff were friendly, It's about a 20 minute walk to the CBD / shopping area but there is a shuttle running every morning. The driver kindly dropped us at the train station for our train to Fremantle. We had a river facing room. The layout of the hotel is very 80s, large lobby area with a fountain and bar area in the centre. We only sat in the bar area one night as the lobby is so large that it was quite drafty. The night before we departed there was a wedding below and it was very noisy. This was due to people congregating in the central area. We were on the 6th floor and the noise carried up to us. When we were checking out the reception staff asked for feedback so we mentioned that. Pool area lovely, food in the cafe good.

Nice hotel- great location

Pros: The staff- best service we experienced in Perth
Cons: Talk to local taxi companies, poor service, local knowledge, didn't/ couldn't use satnav?
Location: perfect for shopping, great Concierge who is very knowledgeable of the best places to go.
We recently spent a week staying at the Hyatt, our first time in Perth. The hotel was well located in regards to the CBD for shopping & dining and central to everywhere. Staff were very friendly and attentive through out the stay and we felt well looked after. The rooms are starting to show the age of the hotel but overall they are well maintained and comfortable.

Pros: Peaceful
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Walkable to harbour area where all the ferry trips available. a visit to Freemantle and the prison is a must. The open top bus tour was great.
During our stay we found all the staff helpful and friendly. The room was good and housekeeping excellent. Nice pool area.

Fantastic staff.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The city of Perth is right there a short walk to malls and shopping. As we had a car it was only a 5 minute drive to the Crown casino.
Our requested river front view room was not ready when we arrived at 2.30pm. So the lovely front desk lady apologized again and again and for our trouble she upgraded us to the Regency Club rooms on the 8th floor with free breakfast and free all day beverages and snacks. If that was not enough on check out the next morning the same lady 'Mika' apologised again and gave us free parking as well. Funny thing was our upgraded room had a river front view anyway, not all the river but alot of it. A lovely hotel with lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel in the Perth CBD.

Posted 12-Feb-2014
Pros: Room, swimming pool, gym.
Cons: Don't charge for everything
Location: Fairly awkward location if you are driving, although you are in the middle of the Perth CBD. Buses are frequent and free around the local area.
Enjoyable stay, comfortable clean room, charged for everything, expensive dinning.

It's really out of the Hyatt or the Pan Pacific.

Posted 11-Feb-2014
Pros: It works without fuss!
Cons: There is no way to get to the lobby from parking in the street except via multiple stairs. Not easy with luggage when arriving at 10pm at night.
Location: Location is a long way to walk from most City facilities.
This hotel is a no-fuss, efficient, comfortable stay. Half a star better than the Pan Pacific which is showing it's age.
