Terrible services, do not go there

Posted 02-Aug-2014
The hotel location is first of all, rather terrible. During our stay - the hotel staff were not even able to give us a map of the region - when we asked for one. They gave us a room with 2 single beds, even though in our Expedia request we had explicitly indicated that we are a family of 2 1, me, my wife and our child. Later another room was given. The concierge when asked about directions to nearby places (since we could not get a map) was clueless and instead tried to get information from us to "enhance his knowledge". The hotel reception staff kept on referring us to the concierge. The room rates are also extremely expensive. There is no shortage of options - just DO NOT go to this hotel.

Comfy beds

Great night sleep apart from when people were waking up around us the water noise from the floor above and the room beside was very loud running through the pipes apart from that beautiful hotel.

Well situated

Pros: Comfy bed Location Cleanliness of room and hotel facilities
Cons: Better sound proofing Bathroom looked a little tired
Location: Next to Swan river Small inlet with trendy cafes 10 minutes away.
We thought this looked like one of the top hotels in Perth. It is looking a little tired in places. Staff were friendly, It's about a 20 minute walk to the CBD / shopping area but there is a shuttle running every morning. The driver kindly dropped us at the train station for our train to Fremantle. We had a river facing room. The layout of the hotel is very 80s, large lobby area with a fountain and bar area in the centre. We only sat in the bar area one night as the lobby is so large that it was quite drafty. The night before we departed there was a wedding below and it was very noisy. This was due to people congregating in the central area. We were on the 6th floor and the noise carried up to us. When we were checking out the reception staff asked for feedback so we mentioned that. Pool area lovely, food in the cafe good.

Comfortable Hotel

Posted 21-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed for a short break of 3 nights and found the hotel well presented, staff helpful and rooms of a good standard. Very comfortable beds with high standards of cleaning and everything you needed in the room. The bathroom was a little dated but in general we had no negative comments at all.

Comfy beds and helpful staff

It did what it said on the packet. Offered a very good service, parking, which is important to me, comfy bed and wifi. A noisy party was going on and the booming of the base was not pleasant and it did stop at midnight. Some warning might have been helpful. Good central location in a very easy to access part of Perth. Polite and helpful staff. Good room service and help with carrying luggage readily available.

Nice hotel- great location

Posted 08-Apr-2014
Pros: The staff- best service we experienced in Perth
Cons: Talk to local taxi companies, poor service, local knowledge, didn't/ couldn't use satnav?
Location: perfect for shopping, great Concierge who is very knowledgeable of the best places to go.
We recently spent a week staying at the Hyatt, our first time in Perth. The hotel was well located in regards to the CBD for shopping & dining and central to everywhere. Staff were very friendly and attentive through out the stay and we felt well looked after. The rooms are starting to show the age of the hotel but overall they are well maintained and comfortable.

Rather industrial, nice, basic hotel. Not luxury. Good breakfast.
