Across from Arena

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Location and food in the Best Brew was lovely.
Cons: Another door in the bathroom to separate the bed.
Location: Perth Arena, very central
Nice enough room, but it felt small because of the view of other rooms and roof - seemed a little tight. Would've liked a door to separate the sink/bathroom area from the rest of the room.

Handy location, friendly service

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: The price and location
Handy location directly opposite Perth Arena and a short walk to Harbour Town. The hotel was easy to find and we found the staff very friendly. Overall the room was clean and had everything we needed. It was a great price and I would stay again in future.

Great location and exceptional value for money

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Pros: Close to good caf├ęs and dinning, plenty of cheap parking options, newly refurbished and good sized rooms. CPP parking half the Wilson nightly price.
Cons: Staff recommend Wilson parking, but CPP is closer and half the nightly rate, even after hotel discount at Wilson. They should recommend CPP instead
Location: Directly across road from Perth Arena, near fast eddies and many dining options both cheap and cheeri or find dining.
I stayed in the Parmelia Hilton for two days and then moved to the Four Points. Four Points was half the price, much larger rooms (bedroom and bathroom), much better finish (newer refurbishment) and just as convenient to Perth offices and entertainment. Four Points may not have the reputation of the Hilton, but I'd opt to stay there again next trip. I had a lot of inter-room noise at Hilton but had no noise issues at Four Points despite Karnye West's racket across the road the night we stayed. Didn't hear a thing, thank god.

Thumping room below the gym.

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Pros: Besides the above situations, rest was ok.
Cons: 1. Better cleaning of shower base. 2. Wish there was a full ceiling to floor door separating bathroom/toilet & bedroom, better hygiene.
Location: 1. Location was good with other eateries nearby.
1. Was assigned a room below the gym in the corner on level 6. Left home at 4am and was looking forward to an early, quiet night. No such luck, the room thumped with the noise from the gym and had to fight with front desk to be told firstly no other rooms available and then assigned a room near the loading dock. Hotel staff visiting the loading dock at midnight, banging doors loudly. 2. At the time of check-in, I signed up for the breakfast promo at $22 per day. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and I advised by 8.30am on first day that I wanted to cancel the breakfast deal for duration of my stay as had early work starts. They refused to cancel initially as the conditions did not allow for cancellation. I advised that this condition was not brought to my attention at the time of signing. They rang back to advise that they would cancel on this one off occasion. 3. The mini restaurant below ran out of English Breakfast tea leaves, had to settle for tea bags at the same price. 4. No room internet included in the rate. Other hotels offer complimentary room internet. Not a good impression for my first stay and can't say if I'll be back.

Nice Hotel, handy to buses and trains

Posted 07-Sep-2014
Pros: Location
Location: Events centre directly across the road, and train station 5 minutes walk.
Staff were really helpful and check in was great. Our room was clean and reasonably quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you were going to the Events Centre, which is directly across the road.

Needs internet

Posted 19-Aug-2014
For a 4* hotel it should have free wifi, big let down. Also very complicated way to do things if you take a car & stay for more than 2 nights & do not use it. Take the car out with-in 24hrs, drive round the one way system to re-park it, also expensive.
