Handy, comfortable hotel with free parking close i

Posted 10-Dec-2014
Pros: free parking , good service, handy to city, free daily paper
Cons: replacement of tea/coffee, biscuits in room service.
Location: walking distance to inner city mass and shopping. Bus stop opposite and better stiff FREE red bus service stops close by. free car parking on site.
For a "budget" hotel close to the city you can not go past the Comfort Hotel Perth City. This hotel is complemented by the helpful staff and the limited free vehicle parking on two levels at the hotel.Situated close to the inner city this hotel is very handy to free inner city-bus transport and walking distance to Captain Cook Ferries. Handy cafe and restaurant at the Comfort Hotel and in the surrounding street scene makes this hotel a very good possibility for your week-end or longer holiday stay.

Internet rip off

Posted 18-Oct-2014
Pros: cleaning staff very good
Cons: offer free internet and get at least some movie channels on the TV, only 8 channels and not all in English language.
Location: Very close to downtown, parks, shopping but there are other hotels that offer much more for same price. A mistake I made once but not twice.
I am a FIFO worker (fly in / fly out) and although this hotel was in an area that has much to offer, it lacks serious amenities for those who are guests. They only have 8 TV channels and you must pay extra service charge for your internet service. I work in a camp for 3 weeks at a time and we have 45 channels on the TV. Most Hotels that charge for internet its a set rate per day, not a set rate per usage. I rely upon Skype to communicate with family and I purchased a 7 day block of usage from this hotel 3 different times at 40 dollars per block. I was a guest for 7 days and the internet usage was gone in 2.5 days, I only used my Skype and viewed my email. Beware if you stay here and rely on internet service for work or personal reasons, you will pay high price for this service. I paid $120 for 7 days, I could not cancel my reservation and change hotels, as they would not give a refund for the room on days not used. BE AWARE go to some other hotel.

quiet area in the city

Posted 13-Oct-2014
Pros: parking and the option of a late checkout for no extra cost
Location: a short walk to pubs, sushi and plenty of local cafes/restuarants with great food.
this place was so accomodating in that they have onsite parking and are in a quiet location, the bed was the most confortable bed ever and the place was very quiet in regards to the other guest, will definately stay again and again.

Convenient for East Perth rail and bus terminal

Posted 07-Oct-2014
Pros: The meal in the restaurant was great. The chilli mussels were to die for!Excellent Caesar salad and lovely Choc fondant dessert.
Cons: If you are going to charge an extra $ 6.50 to add prawns to your Caesar salad then don't be stingy to the point of only adding 3 not so very big prawn
Location: Quiet part of the city.A couple of good pubs close by as is the Perth Mint
Arrived weary after long day's travel from country NSW.Asked if late checkout for next morning was possible and was told NO Problems How does 12 noon sound.Music to the ears.Asked if there was a pub nearby for a cold one and I was directed to not one but two!It was mid afternoon and their bar wasn't open.Such friendly and pleasant reception staff.Had dinner in the restaurant.Hotel restuarants can be hit and miss but not here.Only downside was volume of background music which was turned down immediately I mentioned it;Otherwise a great dinnermTop service .Was Offered a free glass of wine when dessert was not forthcoming within the expected time due to accident in kitchen. On departure staff very helpful in storing luggage for a couple hours.

Nice hotel in the city

The beds were the most comfortable to sleep in. The kettle in our room was rusty. But other than that the rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Convenience

This hotel was in a convenient place for our purposes. Around the corner from car rental used and near bus stop for trip to the airport. Up the road were plenty of options for dinner as well as a CAT stop. Comfortable bed.

Utmärkt läge

Posted 28-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Jag letade efter ett centralt hotell i Perth. Hotellet hade även bilparkering vilket jag uppskattade då jag hade hyrbil. Jag åt frukost två gånger och middag en gång i hotellets restaurang. Maten var mycket bra och servicen var bra.

Good location, comfortable for short stay

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Cons: The only down side was that there was very limited hotel parking and we had to park on the street overnight and then move the car by 8am
small room but comfortable for only 1 night. great location.
