Satisfied

I enjoyed the time at Best Western Premier The Terrace Hotel (Perth), during my stay there (1 night at the end January 2014). The room was not that big but with nice interior & furniture. The personnel was also very kind & helpful. Best regards, Jonas

Nice hotel good central location in Perth

Posted 21-Jun-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: It is the little things that most of the time makes all the difference. better stocking of you complimentary tea and more personalised touches.
Location: Kings park, perth mint, museum, train to Fremantle
Generally good and clean boutique hotel. More likely to be 4 stars rather than 5. The location was the main pro. Stayed for 5 days, staff was friendly and helpful but house keeping could be improved, eg had to keep calling reception to request for soy milk every day and more tea because it has not been restocked! Considering the hotel only has 14 suites and prides itself on the personalised touches this was not evident!

Lovely, well situated hotel.

Posted 11-May-2015
Pros: The welcome that was given and the helpfulness of all of the staff and the general presentation of the hotel.
Cons: The bathroom , while very big and luxurious had no bath and was designed as open plan with no door !
Location: Well situated, beautiful Kings Park, a must place to visit was a short walk away, also the river tours left at the jetty about a 10 minute walk away.
From the moment that we arrived at the hotel we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We were given a warm welcome and a member of the Reception staff took us up to our room to explain all of the facilities available in the room. The hotel has a very good bar and a lovely outdoor eating area that is obviously popular with the local people working in that area. The food on offer was very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again.

THE BEST PERTH HAS TO OFFER ......

Posted 12-Mar-2015 on Hotels
This is one of the nicest boutique hotels we have ever stayed at !! There are only 15 suites / rooms and ours was fabulous. All of the amenities are FIRST CLASS ! For example: iPad provided in your room; included long distance calling world wide; State of the art electronics in room; marble bathroom; EXCELLENT bedding; turn down with chocolates; restaurant and bar best in Perth; best location in town; concierge services and very courteous staff ! Don't let the Best Western name fool you...it's nothing like in the States. This hotel is in a fully restored old home and is awesome; built in 1892 by the Anglican Church. Careful consideration was given to the most important components of our stay. Very luxurious amenities were much appreciated. Excellent WiFi service. Can't wait to come back !!! FIVE STARS.

A terrific stay at the Terrace Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the Terrace Hotel. It was conveniently located and we loved the terrace for afternoon drinks. We were especially impressed with the staff. Everyone from the restaurant to reception was very friendly and helpful. It was a great way to end our Australian vacation. We will have many fond memories of Perth and our stay at the Terrace Hotel.

Ideal choice for visit to Perth

Posted 04-Mar-2015
Pros: Location a short walk from Kings Park. In house restaurant with good food. Courteous and helpful staff who were not pretentious. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Smaller pillows, and we were left short of toilet paper! I am stretching to find something negative to say.
Location: Great for walking to Kings Park, close to shopping, the jetty to get a harbour cruise boat. Walked to get a rental car when leaving Perth.
We are approaching the end of a long trip and this was my 25th bed change. I would rank this hotel right up at the top, better than several that cost more. Staff charming and helpful, room quiet though on a busy street, a large and comfortable suite.

Clean and Comfortable in downtonw Perth

Posted 02-Feb-2015 on Hotels
Hotel located on St. George Terrace next to several major businesses in Perth. Up the hill is the King's Park, which has great views of Perth and the Swan River. Hotel looks to be an older home that has been renovated with an added wing in the back. As such, the hotel provides a boutique flavor rather than a big chain hotel feel. Room and bed were comfortable, bathrooms were large and modern. We were in the main house and the bathrooms are a little funky with an open space concept (rain shower, sink, toilet) relatively open to the entry door of suite. So if you have kids running in an out, there'd be a privacy problem. However, the rooms appeared to be recently updated/renovated, so very nice. Staff very friendly. Restaurant was good as we ate breakfast and lunch. Overall, hotel is very nice place and would stay again.

Exceptional service, total luxury, great location

Posted 30-Jan-2015 on Hotels
Total luxury. Spectacular room and fittings - top class. Great location - walk to kings park, restaurants, Perth arena (went to the Hopman Cup), shops, CBD, wharf (swan river). Exceptional service - when we were stood up by a tour company, no less than the Hotel's General Manager personally chauffeured us to the boat rendezvous at Hillarys - you cannot buy that level of service. Other staff were exemplary. Superb experience.
