Room was in poor condition

Posted 18-Jun-2015
Location: Location good close to Restaurants
Burn holes in carpet through to concrete, walls dirty and marked, couch springs collapsed and stains on the couch.

Conveniently located

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: Liked being able to self cater if we felt like it.
Cons: Overall decor could do with a revamp.
Comfortable stay, clean room. Easy access to free bus service into centre of town shopping and public transport. Limited and expensive car parking at hotel but on street parking available at a cost. Staff friendly and efficient, would recommend.

Poorly Maintained, Aggressive Manager, Bad informa

Posted 09-Mar-2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: Everything - Maintenance, House Keeping staff, Front Desk Day time manager, parking provisions and information, carpeting in common areas
Location: OK, but the quiet part of town, not too far form shops and food but parking is a problem
Air Conditioning leaked on to desk & cloths and computer, Staff ignored note to repair, front desk gave incorrect information, Carpet in Common areas threadbare and wrinkled (trip hazard) Night time clerk tried hard and deserved full praise but day time manager was aggressive and unhelpful. As an excuse said the House keeping staff could not read which was why they did not repair the air conditioner for 3 days and said it was my fault for not reporting direct to desk....... Air con leaked on to main desk (about 2 litres) in 3 days) It was my second stay and there was little difference form the first stay so I doubt I will stay there again as it is not particualrly cheap or conveiniant and there are better options in other areas.

Good location, reasonable price

Posted 01-Mar-2015 on Hotels
We booked two of our managers stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were a bit tired but reasonable for the price. The only issue they had was that the second bedroom didn't have windows and was stuffy, meaning the manager had to sleep with his door open. Fortunately they were both males and knew one another well enough for this not to be a problem.

First Impression - Bad, 24 hours later - Bad

Posted 14-Feb-2015
Pros: the lift was quick (but very clunky)
Cons: front desk staff let people know about the no view
Location: noisy, bins dragged down the alley - uurk out my window was a wall =- not mentioned at all close to kings park, but no chemist/supermarket/bottlo
upon arrival at 3pm Friday, i was greeted not by a smile, more of a 'here we go, bloody customers', not much of a greeting but i let that pass without comment, registration is done and my cc will not authorise a $100 bond. I recieve a staunch 'no bond' = 'no entry to the room', no no no I offer options at my disposal, suggesting trying $50, can I access the room if I leave $25 and have my friend who is in Floreat rectify this issue after 5pm. The standard repeated response, was this robotic mono statement, "sorry sir, we can't as it isn't policy" After asking to see the duty manager who came straight out and started to suggest all my suggestions, I was in the room by 5pm, with mini bar removed and a cash deposit paid. I checkled out just after 10, left my room very clean, didn't steal, break or run up any tabs, and on my exit, the same stiff staff member was there shrieking to the wall, 'what room number sir' about 4 times. I mentioned that she didn't trust me when I was getting my bond back, to which she responded, well Sir, it isn't policy to...' So again, this time on my exiting the property i was again confronted with this look of distaste for whatever reason. I mentioned to her when outside that she was the first and last person i saw on my stay and both were quite uncomfortable for me and I didn't enjoy that at all, of which she replied in the same manner as before, well im...rarara, shaking my hand i turned and left.
