“Very disappointing and not good value for money”
On checking-in the Receptionist seemed more concerned with the new computing system, which had just been installed, than welcoming us and advising of things such as what time breakfast was served or ask us if we wanted to book a table for dinner. When we got to our room, which was supposed to be a double deluxe, it was far from deluxe. Whilst clean and tidy it was very dark with no special "deluxe" features. The bathroom was lovely and big but yet the shower was over the bath and there was nowhere to set your toilet bag or clothes. Having looked round Pitlochry, which was very nice, we decided to dine in the hotel and asked at Reception if we needed to book, it was around 8pm. She told us we were too late for dinner as last orders were served at 7.45pm. What she omitted to tell us, however, was that we would get a meal in the bar until 11.45pm, which we discovered ourselves when we went to get a drink. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all - find your own table and try to catch the waiter/waitress eye. Very disappointing as the hotel is in a great location.
“Perfect for my needs”
This was my first stay at this hotel,but certainly not the last.The location is absolutely perfect,right in the centre of Town. The personell were all very friendly,the room clean,the breakfast good. Only little problem is,that the carpark is a tad small. We'll be back!
