"Welcoming and warm hotel. Clean and traditional."
We stayed 1 night with our 2.5 yr old twins. Very clean and comfortable room. Brilliant breakfast, welcoming staff and a lovely bar serving dinner in the evening. Could not fault our stay. Only shame was the weather as it would have been great to sit in the garden which also looked lovely.

My wife and I were planning to spend the weekend in Pitlochry with our two dogs. I booked this hotel last minute and it was one of the few in the area that accepted dogs. The price also seemed reasonable. From the outside the hotel doesn't look the greatest as it has an ugly modern extension built onto a much older building. However, inside everything was fine inside. Check-in was efficient and friendly and the room a good size giving us plenty of room for the dog's bed and bowls. Bed was comfy although the pillows were very firm. The hotel is well located in the south side of town only requiring a short walk into town for dinner (the hotel also provides dinner, but we didn't try it). The Black Spout walk starts on the adjacent street. Breakfast was good.

We were pleasantly surprised with what this hotel has to offer - grand history and building, a nine hole golf course, tennis courts, a lovely Roman style pool / spa area, lovely walks eg to the magnificent Black Spout waterfall, games room etc. Breakfast was a bit crowded but it wasn't a problem waiting in the nice sofas; we didn't try dinner.

We had a one night stay at the Four Seasons, and booked Chalet 5 as a last minute booking. We paid £69 for two of us, which included breakfast. We were also allowed to take our dog to stay the night. The Chalet was just lovely, couldn't ask for more and the view when lying in bed was breathtaking, taking in the Loch and the mountains. The area was lovely for walks and watersports too. The breakfast was fantastic, with good quality food and cooked to perfection, and the breakfast waitresses were very efficient. Would go back anytime.

We last stayed at Dunkeld House 34 years ago, on our honeymoon, when it was privately owned. Since that time there have been impressive additions such as the swimming pool and spa. But what really delighted us was that the essential ambience, appearance and friendliness of the place hadn't substantially changed. Set in beautiful grounds this is the perfect place for a relaxing stay. Thank you to all the staff for making our return trip so pleasant and memorable.
Located on the outskirts of town, in rural quiet location. Room was lovely, although sloping ceilings may not suit everyone. George and Liz were very hospitable and room was very clean and decorated to a high standard and modern feel, with extra touches such as toiletries and hand lotion. There was a choice of DVDs available to view in your room also. Breakfast was great, freshly made cooked breakfast, and choice of fresh fruit and cereal and home made bread. Although we only stayed 1 night, we would recommend.
