The staff was fantastic and the service was top notch. Breakfast was included in the stay we selected and boy wad it delicious and varied each day. I would highly recommend staying here as it’s probably the nicest hotel in Pereira.

The property is excellent, but the AC in the rooms is not cold at times. It is a green hotel an even with the room key on all the time the room feels hot and my wife complain all the time. Other than that the hotel is a 5 star

This was my fifth trip to Pereira but the first time staying at the Movich. I can say that this was by-far the best stay I have ever had. The location is perfect - close to everything you could need, connected to Plaza Pereira (a mall with shops and food court) and located directly on the popular Circunvalar. This is where you will find an endless array of restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee places and stores within walking distance of the hotel. Midway during our stay, we decided to extend our stay and book the Premium King room - this gives you access to the 9th floor VIP area with food, drinks, coffee and a very nice place to sit (and if you need to, work) away from your room. Every staff member we met with was wonderful, but I MUST compliment and thank the security team who made every entrance and exit from the hotel safe. The area overall is safe, but there's always a few panhandlers. Twice while arriving at night, a panhandler came up to our car asking for change. Security was outside and removing the person within seconds. I cannot say enough about how safe we felt and how seriously the hotel overall takes guest security. BIG shoutout to the breakfast buffet team, especially the young man who takes care of the egg/omelet station. I enjoyed speaking with him everyday and he always made our breakfast perfectly. Not 4 star service - less than 3 star level
Hotel se always was great and comfortable - hotel is starting to show its age. For price and in for being in Colombia service is going down. Expectation for level of hotel is high level of service and this is getting less and less. For instance 3 bellboys and when delivery arrive they have no idea where it is nor can they bring to the room. Even hotels rated much lower (3 star) normally have bellmen or concierge bring delivery to room - this hotel prefer to have the 3 or 4 employees stand around talking to one another than assist guests - but most hotels in Colombia the service level is so much higher they can’t do enough for you. At Movich this isn’t the case - they un organized with any delivery and do not offer to bring to room and don’t permit the Rappi delivery to bring to guest. They need to rethink service levels.

After my fiancé checked in with issues, even though we stayed there before the staff held her hostage until I arrived. After a terrible check in, she went to have dinner until I arrived. When she went to sign the check they wouldn't allow her to leave. They said I had to arrive to give my CC so she said let me go to the room to get my wallet and pay they said she had to wait for me. Then she was surrounded by 3 waiters. Completely embarrassing her around the other guests. She is texting me while I'm on the plane frantically. So 40min later I arrive and they allow her to leave. The front desk woman lied to me saying they cant hold her hostage!!! By this time she is crying in the lobby. I go to the room grab her luggage and we leave. As I go to reception I yell I want the manager and was told he left and they washed their hands! I yelled Im not staying here. I still paid for the food and walked out. The hotel called my Fiancé 3 days later and they would credit me the night but now 10 days later nothing! At 11pm I had to go find another hotel. Please stay away they ruined my Christmas trip!

all desk, restaurant, cleaning staff. everyone very friendly and fast and efficient service. Thank you. If I return to Pereira I would continue using Movich. and I will never and never use the Soratama hotel again. I do not recommend it. less with Miss Erika López and the despotic manager.
