Great price for a weeeknd. Staff was pleasant, views were nice on other side of property overlooking the bay. Breakfast was your typical fare of eggs, sausage and waffles.

PROs- location , breakfast CONs- rooms , turning left from hotel , service , no elevators and price Went to Pensacola and was looking for hotels online .. looked at some of the pictures and booked this . It was about 115$ per night .. not bad .. close to the beach . Location wise it was good . It was about 10 mins from boardwalk. There were few stuff close by , including Dunkin/ Starbucks / Walmart etc . They had a very small beach which was ok. Nothing that impressive . Swimming pool was closed anyways . Liked the breakfast . It was good . Rooms were below average . No elevators . So we had to take all our stuff in stairs . By the looks of it , this hotel wasn’t even looking like 1 star hotel. There was an issue with water logging in our room and they took 2-3 hours and working inside our room ! Wish they just changed rooms or gave us some refund . It was pathetic to deal with the water clogging issue amidst our vacation. I wanted to give 2.5 stars but gave 3, just for the location . Very average hotel overall .

Good stay, but could be updated. Close to the beach. Pool was open but too cold to swim. They need to heat the pool until the sun warm it up. Food was high in the restaurant. Breakfast was ok, but needs to serve more variety.

Really nice room w/beautiful sunset views! Unfortunately it was impossibly to enjoy the view from inside the room because of the severely moisture-damaged windows Even more discouraging however was the large group of unruly, loud & poorly supervised group of high-schoolers occupying rooms all around us. While we sincerely appreciated the staff’s intervention at 12:30 am in an effort to curtail the noise, our stay was characterized by loud yelling, running up & down the hallway & late night conversations. We really love the idea of a slumber partition. It’s just that we had no intention of spending this kind of money to be in the middle of one! We’ve never been more ready to leave a property so we could get some much needed rest.

The staff are rude and unhelpful/ unprofessional. I’ve stayed here in the past with no issues, but after this experience I’ll never come back. The people at the front desk act as if they do not want to be at work, they’re not helpful at all and do anything for an argument. If I can subtract stars I would definitely do that. I also have children with me and they also felt uncomfortable.

I loved that you could walk right down to the beach. My kids had a blast! The other guests kept letting their dogs make on the lawn and not picking it up which is so rude. The room didn’t have a bed bug cover on the mattresses which grossed me out and I thought they were Queens not full size so that was rough with 5 people. The breakfast was really yummy and all of the staff was very nice. It felt a little scummy and like I should be concerned about my car but overall not a bad experience.

When we arrived to check-in, the first thing I noticed was the smell. The lobby had an old, stale smell. I was hoping my room would be okay, but that wasn't the case. The minute we opened the door we noticed it also had the same stale smell along with a body odor/unclean smell. We canceled the reservation and when she asked why, I told her, the smell/cleanliness of the room. She didn't act the least bit surprised and never once apologized. She offered to give me an upgrade? I declined. If the first room was not clean, why would I want another? She quickly told me I could cancel but would not be refunded any of the $160.00 we paid to stay there. We canceled and left. Do not waste your money. The room was terrible and the customer service was even worse.

We had a five night stay. We checked in on Monday at 7:00 Thursday evening, our room had not been serviced. When we called the front desk we were told they only service the rooms every 3 days and if we needed anything we could come to the front desk. The amenities they provide are for one day, soap, shampoo, coffee… why are my dollars different than someone spending one night?? If this is the new norm for Choice Hotels, I will be find a different chain to spend my lodging dollars with!

The room was completely updated and very clean. Basic toiletries provided. The A/C worked fine but a little outdated. The bathroom sink and tub drains don't give you the option to fully open the drain so the sink and tub fill up and slowly drain out. This is my 3rd stay in a year, same hotel, different rooms - same drain problem every time. Not a show stopper. Nice to have the beach access and restaurant onsite. Easy access from I-10.

It was just ok. Not in the best condition. In the bathroom where the light was was a hole where it was filled with toilet paper. There were a couple of holes at the bottom of the floor where you can see light coming through.

Room was average and adequate and about what you would expect (or maybe less than you would expect) for the price. No natural ight. If the curtains were open, people walking past could see in so had to keep them closed - curtains also torn. The outside of the property looked like something from an old American movie with a seedy motel. Old exterior and dirty grounds surrounding the property. Several places within driving distance for finding food.

The location is good for the price, the beach is about 6-11 minutes away. The cleanliness is decent, housekeeping only comes twice a week, but you can ask for more. The breakfast is extremely limited even for a Continental breakfast. The staff is hit or miss, some are helpful and others are dismissive.
