“great place for price”

I was a little skeptical about staying here after reading reviews but we had stayed at microtel before so we gave it a try. The employees ( or owners) were not very friendly but we did not come to visit them anyway. The room was clean and had a frig, microwave, TV, iron, large towels, and great housekeeping. We were visiting friends so this is all we needed. We were delighted to pay such a low price.

“"So happy we found somewhere suitable"”

After a really bad experience in another hotel on a previous trip to Pensacola, we were afraid we would not be able to find a reasonably priced hotel that was clean and comfortable. We checked several reviews on hotels in the area and then settled on Microtel. What a relief when we arrived! The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and even the appliances looked like new. The bathroom was clean! So unlike our other experience! We had fresh towels every day. The continental breakfast had much more variety than I'd seen in other hotels that offer a continental breakfast. The room came with a refrigerator and microwave, and also an iron and ironing board which was very convenient. There was always coffee down at the reception area for guests...a nice touch. The location is ideal. It's right off Interstate 10...perfect for what we needed! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a clean, pleasant place to stay for a few nights. we actually stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied.

“Exactly what I wanted”

I took three people on a cheap trip to Pensacola to relax on the beach. We stayed at Microtel just long enough to sleep each night and eat breakfast in morning before going back to the beach, it was a few miles from the beach, but it was a straight shot on the interstate, so it took just about 15 minutes to get from the hotel to the beach. Anyway, the beds were clean, the housekeeping was great, the continental breakfast included waffles. Staff were super nice and helpful, only criticism is that the shower head was a bit clogged. Did not expect such nice of an accommodation considering the other negative reviews and the low price. Truly a great value, will stay again!

“Bad smells”

Hallways smelled terrible. The rooms smelled a little better. Inside of motel needs painting and redoing. Peeling paint and extremely worn carpet. Never again.

“Pass Up This One”

Not at all impressed with this hotel. Room was not clean; their was still toothpaste on the sink in the bathroom. Witnessed hotel personnel wipe off table with hand and then refill the muffin tray and did not use gloves; very unsanitary. Person who checked us in was not very nice. I will skip this hotel and opt for another one on my next visit;

“Pensacola Beach”

Personnel was good and friendly. The location was good. I would stay again at microtel hotel.

“Pretty good”

Really no complaints .... Clean and simple place to stay... Very small rooms but we were just in need of a quick place to stay and it worked just fine! I would suggest this to anyone just passing through! :)

“LaQuinta Inn in Pensacola, FL Rooms werent ready by 3:00 ?!?!?”

It was not a good experience here. I check ed in at 3:00... and I was given a Room hesitantly. As I was given a key... and walked down the hall....the Desk Clerk ran down after me...and said "Wait!" He took my key and opened the door... then immediately closed it. He indicated the Room wasn't ready... to wait awhile longer. As I peeked in, the bed was a mess and the place was definately not ready. I got a Room next to Check-In... not my ideal spot. The Room was a 4 out of a 10 to me. THE BATHROOM was nasty...rust all over the tub. I was grossed out. The worst part was the towels were solied BAD.. but had been washed. They had stains all over them and just were beyond their life span. I didn't want to eat there in their complimentary breakfast because the kitchen are was nasty (which is where you had to sit). I just went across the street to the Waffle House (which is better for you, huh). I was disappointed in the upkeep of the Lobby...it was severely weathered and had cheap christmas lights in a fake tree as you walk in...very tacky. I never write reviews...but just felt I had to say something. I have had good luck with LaQuinta Inns in Atlanta... that is why I was sold on getting it again. Good Luck... but stay away from Pensacola, FL

“Halfway Stopping Point”

Nice little cost effective hotel. Not a lot of bells and wistles but you're there to sleep anyways. I use it as a halfway stopping point to visit relatives.
