The property was not clean or maintained. I stayed for 3 nights and had to get my key card reactivated 3-4 times a day. The breakfast was cold and terrible. Overall, this was a very bad experience and I'm shocked that they are able to carry the Holiday Inn Express name. Staff person on check out only wanted to give excuses for the poor conditions. Also, Pool was not open, and I really don't think I would have used it anyway because of conditions. I feel that my comments will go nowhere, but just thought I would give my experience.

When we got there to check in at the check in time, our room was not ready. We kept being told it would be 15 minutes, then another 15, and then it was a hour or more past check in time when we were able to go to our room.

The hotel was clean, the staff wonderfully friendly, and the beds delightfully comfortable. Breakfast was hot, and fresh with choices for all ages. The pool was well maintained and not overly chlorinated. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway and we will definitely stay here again during future trips.

The hotel staff was ok. The first room we had smelled really bad like smoke and mold. The staff moved us to the room next door. It was better. The tub did not drain the water properly. The pull out couch was nasty, the matress had holes in it and burn marks. So glad we traveled with cleaning and disinfectant supplies. The pool door would not open or so the staff told us that. The main reason i picked this property was for the indoor pool. It was disappointing to not be able to use it. The beds were not comfortable. If i had to stay more than 1 night i would have checked out went somewhere else.

Everything was great except for the beds, and that's why our stay was terrible. The beds are not short people friendly as they are too high, and the mattresses are so uncomfortable.
