“Needs updating!”

Good value for money hotel but stuck in the 80's with its decor and style. Staff were brilliant I have to say. The breakfast was awful - I had 3 plates of beans every morning as I could not find anything else to eat and I will eat most things. However curry is not one of those things I will eat at 8 in the morning! I had 2 lunches there which were very nice and good value for money so maybe it was just breakfast I don't know! Overall not bad place - if I was going back with my partner to Penang I would stay somewhere more modern but if you just want a basic hotel its fine.

“Good place to stay”

The hotel was very good although in places looked a little 'tired', paticularly the bathroom to our suite. We liked the location, quieter than Batu Ferringhi, but nice beach and a good choice of restaurants nearby, although not all easy to find!

“We would go back any time”

We met quite a few visitors from Europe, Australia and USA who return every year to the Paradise Sandy Beach Resort and stay there for a few month. We enjoyed the Bus transit connection to Georgetown with stops right in front of the Hotel. The staff of the Hotel is very helpful and speak very well english.

It was a nice stay, service is really good and conveniant that it is right next to the shopping centre. Staff were really helpful and housekeeping. public transport were cheap can also get a taxi for 4hours for 40 australian dollars go around the island

“Great hotel - not much to do at night close by”

The hotel is located in Tanjung Bungha, by the beach and on the main road between Georgetown & the resort area of Batu Ferranghi. The hotel is therefore well positioned for day time touring of the island but is a bit isolated from any nightlife. There are one or two restaurants hidden away in the residential area across the main road. However, it is very easy to use the local bus service to get to Batu Ferranghi in the evening and taxis are plentiful & cheap. (Tip - at the hotel reception they sell bus passes for approx £4 that can be used for up to a week on ALL the buses across the island) The hotel itself is fine - staff are very helpful and friendly in all areas. European guests are very much in the minority, which is either a plus or a minus, depending on you.

After a 16 hour day; when our group of nine walked into the hotel and were shown to our rooms, we all went "wow". Three of the four rooms were Deluxe Paradise Suites on the 21st floor with a seperate bed room to the lounge/dining area. The forth room was a Deluxe Studio Suite on the 24th floor with the bed/living/dining area combined in the one room. All were very spacious. The Paradise Suites have two balconies, while the Studio Suites have one. The higher the floor, the better the view, especially if the room number finishes in 5, 7, 9, 11 or 13. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with the view from the other side of the hotel with 6,8,10,12,14. The hotel represents great value for money and the staff were the friendliest that we have encountered. From the greetings as we entered or left the hotel, to the staff that cleaned our rooms, the pool and bar attendants, the hotels PR and management; all went out of there way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel's PR representatives even managed to arrange on very short notice that we as a group were able to attend the ANZAC day dawn service and then to top it off, have breakfast with the 'service personnal' after the service. If not for these PR representatives, we also would have missed out on on seeing an eye opening impotant Hindu festival. This hotel is not five star, but it wants for nothing and with a beautiful pool and a twenty metre walk to the beach all needs are catered for. Will we be back? Yes.

１０月５日から１７日までの１２泊をデラックス・パラダイス・スイートに宿泊しました。 飛行機のトラブルで到着が２３：３０となってしまいましたが、フロントは２４時間開いているため何の問題もなくチェックインできました。 ホテルは、清掃が行き届いておりとても快適に過ごせました。 スタッフもフレンドリーで部屋の故障もすぐ対応してくれました。 ２１階からの眺望も良く特に夜景は絶景でした。 ３名で宿泊しましたが、１名分の追加料金にはエキストラベッドの使用料も含まれており、部屋にはミニキッチンも付いている為長期の滞在も可能でしょう。 目の前の海ではマリンレジャーが可能で、ホテルのプールと合わせて過ごすには最適でした。 次回はもうもう少し長く滞在したいと思います。

部屋は広いが内装とか古い。
