I stayed at the hotel for business but would happily return for pleasure. The hotel was clean and welcoming and felt a lot more traditional than many of the other local hotels that feel very much like chains, something I personally appreciate.
The only concern is with the general area. Most of the restaurants and bars seem to only serve food for tourists. It was difficult to identify local eateries that might offer a more authentic approach to local foods.

Great hotel, friendly staff and close to the beach. The restaurant had a different theme every evening with the staff dressed to suit. We particularly liked the German themed night, it was a great laugh with German drinking songs as entertainment. The hotel guests are predominantly German with only a very few English couples when we were there. Everyone speaks to you in German first. However, everyone friendly and we did not feel out of place. The bar staff really went out of their way to be helpful. Although there were a few younger couples this hotel is frequented by those aged 40 plus.

This hotel was everything I hoped for as a short getaway , whole resort was catered for Germans but that suited me fine as it made the trip feel more like I was in Europe rather than sunny Blackpool. Food selection was great , 5mins walk to beach and main shopping street, spars and convenience stores close by. Hotel room was spacious modern and clean, couldn't fault this hotel and location, only minor gripe would be that the mini fridge wasn't cold enough and no settings to adjust. Would definitely go back! All the positive reviews are confirmed by my own trip!
