“Very Satisfied”

Hotel is right in the heart of Soi 8 bars and clubs so may not be suitable for family but most people going to Pattaya know that. Rooms are basic but clean and brrrrill air conditioning. Shower also very powerful and always warm / hot water available. On hotel site is All Day Cafe, good food and friendly service. Also on hotel site isa tailors (very good) travel agent and internet cafe. With a pool and bar as well you could spend entire holiday in hotel but the delights of Pattaya are right here and tuk tuk buses along the beach road to Walking Street. Go Go Guest friendly too :-) I will definitely stay here again.

“Only would go back if new decent pool included in devevolpment”

The hotel reception was great as arrived very early and found room immediately. Very good location Soi 8 and 100 meters from beach,tiny pool and major new bldg going up next door which makes it unusable at present (hope they include new large pool with redevelopment, and in middle of night lift bar streets. Breakfast was very good with reasonable selection . Allows guests to room with no hassles.

“Good Value”

The hotel had my reservation and checking in was quick and painless. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Although I stayed whilst part of the hotel was undergoing extensive reconstruction (which I was informed about before booking), I did not experience any inconvenience. The hotel is well located in Soi 8 with everything like currency exchange, pharmacy and laundry nearby. Although I must add that the location might not be suitable for a family. The hotel is "guest" friendly. Your guest is required to hand over their ID to reception and should they leave before you, reception will call your room to confirm all is ok before releasing the their ID. There is also a night watchman on duty. Although the hotel is located in a bit of a "party" area, I found the room comfortable and quiet enough to be able to sleep well. There is also a safe for your valuables. I recommend getting a room with a balcony. Breakfast is from 07:00 to 11:00 and is a buffet style. The only problem I encountered was there was no running water one morning. This was fixed the same day. All in all I found the hotel good value with friendly staff. I intend staying there again.

This hotel has always been good to me. Great staff, GREAT location .. close to the beach and in the middle of SOI 8. Construction going on at the time, so the existing pool is quite small :( For the money ... highly recommended~

“Nice and friendly hotel”

Having been twice on it, I recommend this hotel for it's service and friendliness, only one word of advise, if booking on the old building (standard hotel) go only for the deluxe rooms, the standard rooms are old and small. For the difference is better to book on the residence side, which is new and the rooms are bigger and have all the described ammenities, plus balconies and a real air conditioner and safe box. The free breakfast is excellent and the staff will alway try to make your stay a pleasant one.

The room is quite old. It's take about 15 minutes for the air conditioner to get cool. However Breakfast buffet is impressed. Overall is good.

“Sunshine Hotel & residences: la mia casa per le vacanze in Thailandia”

Per l'ennesima vola (la quarta) ho soggiornato al Sunshine Hotel & Residences di Pattaya in quello che io definisco "la mia casa in Thailandia"- La calorosa accoglienza da parte di tutto lo staff nonchè la squisita cortesia di Mr.Kitti mi ha fatto davvero piacere. Questo albergo, secondo me, soddisfa in pieno le esigenze del ceto medio per il costo accessibile nonchè per le prestazioni, quali la cortesia, la pulizia, l'ottimo buffet ed il sorriso delle graziose impiegate della reception e delle cameriere fanno da contorno ad una piacevole vacanza. E' in fase di esecuzione un notevole ampliamento di tutto il complesso e sicuramente alla fine dei lavori sorgerà una struttura che non ha nulla da invidiare ad alberghi di fama internazionale che si trovano nelle immediate vicinanze. La prima volta ho seguito l'indicazione della Lonely Planet, leader come guida per viaggiatori, che poneva il Sunshine al primo posto tra i complessi della sua categoria: ne ho avuto la conferma!
