“i wish they were all around the world”
customer service second to none and located away from hustle and bustle but not too far on moped taxi,it was like staying in heaven-cant wait to gp back

its a gr8 huge hotel.... with 5 swimimng pools and 10 restaurant and also with attached private beach... awesome place to be in... only problem is no transportation easily available from this hotel... hotel have their own taxi service but it's expensive.... there are lot of things inside the hotel to do so if u don't want to go to the city and just relax there can be nothing better than this.... ppl visiting pataya shuld stay here atleast 3 days and other 2 or 3 days in any city hotel... Sea view room wud be the best...
“Lovely resort to unwind for a few days - espcially the spa!”
This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Royal Cliff. We actually really don't like Pattaya but as 1) there were political problems with protesters in Bangkok and 2) we had limited time, we chose to go back. (We caught a bus straight from the airport and back again, only 1.5hrs away) But why we chose Royal Cliff was because it is away from the main strip of Pattaya and is very private. (Not so good if you want to be close to town but great if you don;'t, like us!) All the facilities are at the hotel so you do not need to go out. If you like, you can get a cheap meal at lunch along the beach. Actually, the prices at the Thai restaurant at the hotel are reasonable, but the best thing is the spa. It is divine! Highly recommended. Coming form Australia, the beach is pretty dismal (especially compared to southern Thailand) but ok for a dip at high tide. We mainly used the pool at the Sport & Rec centre. Good place to unwind if you don't have time or money to go further afield. And DON'T miss a spa treatment!
“TOO FAR FROM EVERYTHING...POOR SERVICE”
Stayed here April 6, 2010. To be fair, the hotel has pros and cons. On the positive end, it is a resort with many ammenities. However the service is not good and it is a VERY< VERY inconvenient. location. The hotel is up the cliffs and far from everything. There is no complementary service into town. The hotel taxis are 3x-5x more than a local taxi. In addition they wont call a taxi service if you need to go anywhere. If you plan to only stay at the resort you are fine. If not, dont stay here Another example....The standard rate for a taxi to BKK is 800 bhat plus tolls. This hotel charged 3500 bhat. We all expect to pay more for things in a hotel. However this place goes overboard. The rooms are old with cracking on the ceilings. The ammenities sre so small and cheap it seems like a cheap US motel.

leider liegt das hotel etwas einsam und zur stadtmitte sind etwa 300 baht an taxikosten fällig. personal ist freundlich, das hotel auf massenabfertigung ausgerichtet aber durchaus gepflegt und großzügig angelegt. kontakt mit anderen gästen kann, mit wenigen ausnahmen, nur über die russische sprache erfolgen. viele familien und insgesamt angenehm.

場所は少しわかりづらかったです。セントラルまでｈ車で10分位、結構近かったです。無料シャトルバスがありますが夕方まで。夜のパタヤを楽しみたければソンテオを利用することにんりますが、夜は渋滞がひどい。ホテル内で十分ゆっくりできるのであまり外へ行かない方お薦めです。プールは数箇所あって、どこも素敵でした。
