“Johnny”

This was the best experience i Had. The service was extremely great. Would love to say thank you to the room service guys ( Bobby and Peter ) and also the lovely receptionist that does the 9- 5 shift. Lovely People. Next time I Go They all Definitely gonna be treated with TIPS. Great Work Guys!

“ok for the money”

It's a nice place to stay,in one of the back strets away from the night life so it's quiet but only 6 minute walk to the beach or big"C" and about 15 minutes walk to walking street, this is the second time we have stayed here and like the big appartment with seperate bedroom, washer/dryer for your clothes and free internet. only problem we had was when we asked fora metered taxi they sent us a limo and wanted 700bath to go 20km, we walked down the street and got a taxi for half that price

“Expectations Exceeded.”

A hotel is only as good as it's staff. The staff was always very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with nice smiles and a cold sweet tea. The entire hotel, as well as my room, was clean and comfortable. The hotel is off the main road which allows for restful sleep. If you're looking for the hustle of the city, a short walk will put you in the middle of it all. Rides are also given by the hotel, free of charge, to people looking to get to the main road. I used the ride once though I was consistantly offered one. All in all, my stay left me with a strong desire to return.

Area recommendations

The city is not that big. Short cab rides can get you to all the attractions. Some other attractions are just outside the city which means you'll need transportation. Within the city there are shops that will arrange that for a small fee.

Getting around

Cabs seem to be the best way to get around if you don't like walking but prepare to negotiate the price.

What to pack

Pack light clothes. The heat and humidity can become quite fierce.

Dining

Do not be afraid to try the local fare. Most of the food is prepared for tourist, so if you want spicy, you'll have to ask. But do so at your own risk.

Nightlife

The city itself is the nightlife. It is not totally conducive to children but single men and couples can have a blast.

Outdoors or beach

Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach are really nice but a short inexpensive boat ride will take you to several of the islands in the gulf that are absolutely beautiful. A scuba divers paradise. Pattaya Beach held a celebration for the Queens birthday with a fireworks display that was like no other I've ever seen. Unfortunately I'm not certain if it's like that every August.

“seriously bad location”

The hotel is ok for a 4 star , the most annoying thing was the location which isolated and away from every thing else in town not to mention acessability (you either have to put up with spending time to explain to a taxi, or you have to rely on foot power). Another thing, if you plan to return later in the night, make sure you eat before you retire as there is no room service beyond 1 am.

“Fantastic new hotel.”

Check in was great, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and catered to every need I had. The room was huge and was extremely clean and very modern. The only problem is that the hotel is kind of out of the way of everything else but the hotel provides a golf cart that takes to the major areas. All together the hotel was amazing, the Ice Bar and the restaurant were also superb. On my next trip to Pattaya I am definitely going to stay at Amari Nova Suites again.

“Not what I imagined”

From the photos, I expected more from this hotel. It's location is back from any of the main roads and is quite rural. There is no restaurant service during certain times of the day (only room service). The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the two lounges in the lobby are not for family people or romantic lovers. At night, the place is for single guys only! The suite was great and was exactly as pictured.

“Would highly recommend.”

The Amari Nova Suites are very clean, well maintained & equipped, staff were very friendly & obliging a courtesy buggy would take you to the top of the road. The hotel was a little difficult for the taxi driver to find precise instructions for the location are a necessity& should be implemented. The hotel is situated around Soi 4 at the rear of Big C supermarket complex & is quite a walk into town but for those who are fit should not pose a problem. All in all we would highly recommend unless you require a good view. The rooms are exactly as they appear on their website:-)
