Short last minute family break

Posted 25-Jun-2014
Pros: rooms nice size and very clean, location excellent and availability of parking wonderful as real must for the area.
Cons: more options in terms of menu in hotel restaurant.
Location: shops, restaurant and beach near by, nice woods also across from hotel with nature trails for a walk.
Lovely hotel, traditional facade but nice modern rooms. great parking and close to all shops restaurants and the beach. Did not eat at the hotel as menu very traditional french and a little pricey but lots of other options locally. Nice clean beach but when tide out water very long walk away across some mud flats so can be a little messy - but nothing that cant be handled if you go well prepared. hotel family friendly, provided us with a bottle warmer and kettle for our room to prepare milk for out little one. had spa facilities and a pool but unfortunately we were unable to sample these due to lack of time on our stay.

Top class hotel in Le Touquet

Posted 24-Jun-2014
Stayed 1 night in June 2014 to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We were very impressed by the hotel and service of the staff. Hotel was full of characteric with Art Deco style yet very clean and modern functionally. The location is great, just a short walk to the centre of Le Touquet along the main street. Our room was huge and had a nice airy feel with high ceilings. We had a very comfortable sleep with no noise or disturbance despite being on the first floor facing the front. Breakfast was also very good. The only downside were the prices of the drinks - 30Euros for two Kir Royals! But the bar and terrace were fabulous. Recommend.

Excellent hotel, but

Pros: The luxury and service
Cons: Spa and bedrooms to have shelving or drawers
Location: Close to the main high street and 2 minutes from the casino
Excellent hotel, the food and service was of a high standard. The spa could have had larger changing facilities as these were nearly non existent being part of the WC area that was mixed, also there were only 2 loungers round the pool and it could have taken 10 including the spa area. I ordered a single room, but there was not a shelf in my room or a drawer for clothes. There was a wardrobe but the only shelf had the safe on it. The second night my room was changed to an updated room wand this had a wardrobe with shelves and was a fabulous room. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good value and I have eaten in some of the top establishments and found it exquisite. On the whole a very enjoyable stay in a luxurious hotel.

Pros: Love the ideal location - everything is well within walking distance.
Location: Le Jardin - a quality restaurant - is nearby as was the winter ice rink and beautifully lit bandstand
Located with its own car park opposite the enchanted forest and its mass of Christmas lights, right at the start of the main shopping area of rue St Jean. It's quirky lift and shabby chic furniture add character to this magnificent hotel with a long history. Reception staff helpful, polite and willing to speak in English without indicating that my French is naff!

Timeless Elegance

Posted 20-Dec-2013
Pros: Art Deco style & glamorous history. Swimming pool. Secure car parking.
Location: Conveniently situated within easy walk of the shops, restaurants & superb beach. It has a spacious area of public gardens along the frontage.
We were happy to have one of the refurbished rooms at The Westminster on this, our third, visit. The decor was classic, restful, mellow in colour & fairly simple with soft furnishings of high quality. It was spotlessly clean & we loved it. It's far better than most of the modern, brash, tasteless schemes currently used in hotels. The staff were smart & professional as always. The hotel is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the town centre & beach and it has a wide spacious area of public gardens along the long frontage. We stayed just before Christmas and the illuminations in Le Touquet were spectacular & magical - particularly along the length of road outside the hotel. Well worth seeing. We were impressed last year and it was the reason for a return visit on this occasion.
