good location for a stop over

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Very big room, bath, microwaves in the room.
Cons: breakfast was basic.
Location: Very close to ferry and Euro Tunnel ports. Also close to shopping centre, bowling and cinema.
Friendly staff, clean and pleasant hotel with very large rooms, bath and big shower. Located very close to the ferry terminal and the Euro tunnel terminal. Also located opposite a supermarket and 5 mins walk from a huge shopping centre with lots of different shops, bowling and cinema. No restaurant in the hotel but microwaves in the rooms and microwave meals available to buy from the lobby or the nearby supermarket - a handy option if you're on a budget or arriving/leaving at odd hours.

Conveniently located near the port

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Couldn't fault the staff at the hotel - very efficient and friendly. However, rooms slightly cabin like and extra bed was clearly taken from smokers room as could smell it quite strongly. Otherwise, very conveninent

Convenient overnight if using Channel Tunnel

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything
Location: Close to Channel Tunnel and Calais for ferry crossings.
We had a very comfortable overnight stay in a family room; the room was very clean and spacious with pristine bathroom facilities. The hotel has no restaurant but across the road is a huge centre (Cite Europe) with a variety of restaurants to choose from and we had an excellent meal in an Italian restaurant there. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, there is plenty of parking behind the hotels (there are three hotels in a row) and it is easy to find from the tunnel exit. We would certainly stay there again.

Good stopover for tunnel crossing

Posted 12-Aug-2014
This was a good final stopover in a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids on our return from Provence to the UK. The room was spotless, quite spacious with plenty of very hot water for showers. There are plenty of restaurants for an evening meal in the shopping mall about 5 minutes walk away. My only grumble is the mediochre breakfast costing €30.00 (€15/adult - children free). If possible I suggest getting a breakfast elsewhere, although this does defeat the idea of a swift getaway to the tunnel!

Perfect last stop before returning to UK

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Pros: Modern, comfortable, close to Euotunnel terminal and a retail park two minutes away.
Cons: Air conditioning did not seem to work very well in the room, although not a hot evening so windows sufficed!
Location: Close to retail park and Eurotunnel terminal. Two minute walk to retail park with restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket and cinema.
Last stop after week touring Europe and getting Eurotunnel in morning! Modern hotel situated close to retail park with restaurants, shops, cinema and large supermarket. 5-10 minutes from Eurotunnel terminal. Room was excellent although air conditioning did not do that great a job, but windows were effective. Arrived early evening, went for dinner at a restaurant in the retail park (two minutes walk away) and did some last minute gift and duty-free shopping. In morning had continental breakfast in hotel and then headed for the Eurotunnel terminal.

Hotel perfect location for eurotunnel

Posted 31-Jul-2014
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Instructions adhered to
Location: Eurotunnel and hypermarkets
Hotel great, nice clean large rooms. Breakfast good value as long as you have kids as they eat for free - we have 3 of them! However, somewhere between Expedia and the hotel our request for non-smoking rooms next to each other was lost. This to the point that my wife and I split up as we were uncomfortable that our young teenagers were so far away from our room. A real shame.

Located v close to Cite Europe and channel tunnel

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Pros: Location and room standard
Cons: Front desk didn't know opening times of the Carrefour, the major local supermarket at Cite Europe. Also, breakfast was quite expensive (~15 euros each
Location: If you have had a long drive, this is a great place to rest.
One of 3 new hotels on the Cite Europe park. Suite room was well equipped with bath, shower, and a microwave and fridge. Some good free to watch recent movies (including in English) on demand.
