This is a gorgeous hotel in the heart of the French countryside. The rooms have been beautifully designed, are spacious and extremely comfortable. We stayed as a family with a 2 and 6 year old and the layout of the open plan rooms was fantastic for us. The farm yard animals were a real treat for the us all, the children loved the donkeys, chickens and ducks. The breakfast was lovely, especially eating it outside in the fresh country air. I really cannot recommend this hotel enough, we would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased to stay at St Jean , the hotel was spotlessly clean and very good breakfast which set us up for the day well worth the money. We couldn't use the hotel car park due to road works blocking entrance but this was not a problem as parking available nearby and free.

We stayed Jardins d'Hardelot for three nights on a short trip to France. The hotel is in a good location in the town, close to the beach and several restaurants. It's about a 45 minute drive from Calais which was convenient for us as we came over on the ferry. We also enjoyed a day out in le Touquet which is about half an hour drive away. The hotel is clean and well-decorated and our triple room was spacious. The staff were friendly. Although the breakfast could be considered a bit pricey at 12 Euros per adult, it was fairly good value for us as our toddler ate for free.
Wonderful hotel very close to shops and beach. Breakfast - the hot dishes were only just warm and the young waitress was run off her feet, being on her own for 90 per cent of the time. Dinner in the bistro was also disappointing. The ambiance of the hotel was fantastic.

Great stay slight problem in the hotel bar staff wouldn't serve us as we weren't sat at a table set up for food. All tables in direct sun we moved but French people who sat at same tabe were served (discrimination!!) snotty waitress but didn't let it spoil it for us
I went with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law for a weekend of shopping in and around Le Touquet and the Residence was exactly what we wanted - not expensive and close enough to walk into the town, without the noise and bustle of the centre and sea front.
If you want 5-star luxury, then this probably isn't the place for you, but the rooms were spotlessly clean and more than comfortable enough. The staff were helpful and friendly and the opportunity of having a little studio kitchenette and fridge was brilliant as we were able to sort our own breakfasts etc. Every room even has a little balcony or patio of its own. More than you get in a lot of luxury establishments!
The location was lovely too - in the middle of the woods and near lots of horseriding.
Am already planning a return journey with my children this time as it's a very convenient, flexible and cheap way to spend time in Le Touquet.
