clean hotel near to beach and town

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Pros: Very clean and good location. Parking on the street for cars (which as of 5th July you have to pay for). We got to park our bikes in the hotels yard.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in room. A bit expensive for what you get. We've stayed in the Blue Cottage nearby and that is a lot better value.
Location: Lots of things to do if the weather is nice, beach, golf, etc. Plenty of restaurants, cafe's and shops nearby. Also a local market on certain days.
The staff were very helpful initially and allowed us to park our motorcycle in their small gravel yard. Breakfast was typical continental (which my wife cannot eat as she is allergic to wheat and gluten) there was no alternative for her apart from fruit or yoghurt which at 12 euros is a lot. It would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well.

Comfy

Posted 23-Mar-2014
Pros: Close proximity to seafront, shops & bars/restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Shower very nice but slippery. Could do with a rubber anti-slip mat. If I was there longer, I would have purchased one from a local store.
Location: Bars, restaurants, shops and beach with a couple of minutes walk.
Enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. Very comfortable and would stay there again. Parking had to be paid for but cheap, very easy, and right outside. Staff were helpful in recommending restaurants etc.

Pros: The location and very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: The information on Expedia includes an incorrect telephone number. Our room was smaller than we expected.
Lovely, very friendly hotel situated in town within easy access of shops, restaurants and the beach.

Cozy Rooms

Great location, friendly staff. Unless you are a smoker, don't book a terrace during winter, no point being outside. Also, if you are on the lower ground floor, you will hear the noise from guests above.

Comfortable, centrally located hotel.

Posted 15-Oct-2013
Pros: Good location. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Better sound insulation for room 1. Full licence in bar.
We booked a Cosy Room with balcony but we're upgraded to a larger room because of a problem with the original room. This upgraded room was very pleasant, though not large, having double aspect windows and access to a small terrace. Unfortunately, the room was situated on the ground floor adjacent to the bar/breakfast area and beside the main access route to all other areas of the hotel. This meant it was a little noisy. However, other guests were generally considerate so the noise did not disturb us too much. More disappointing was the limitations of the bar licence. No cognac or malts for our planned nightcap! Unfortunately the hotel cannot sell alcohol over 18% due to the terms of its licence. But overall, a good stay and the hotel staff in particular are extremely helpful.

We loved it!

Posted 07-Nov-2012
Pros: The cosy room: we like cosy, and they had packed an impressive amount into such a compact and bijou room.
Location: About three minutes' walk from the beach, and really very easy to find if you're driving to Le Touqet.
Having taken note of other reviewers' comments, we duly booked a Cosy room for two nights and were perfectly happy with the room. The Cosy rooms are, as others have noted, just that - cosy. But, they are ingeniously designed and, as long as you and your room-mate are very comfortable with each other, there really isn't a problem. If you are a bit sensitive about your bathroom habits, then perhaps book one of the bigger rooms. The rest of the hotel is stylish and elegant and, best of all, just a couple of minutes' walk from Le Touquet's lovely beach. The staff in the hotel could not have been more helpful. They all spoke very good English, happily recommended restaurants, and were anxious to make sure our car was parked and a ticket purchased for its parking. We parked our car in the street next to the hotel for three days for about £10: seems a bargain to me. We loved Le Touquet, and would happily stay at Hotel Victoria again.
