“Good hotel with great location”
Hotel is very cosy . Breakfast is nice, but the choice is a little bit poor for its price and for 4 stars. Location is perfect, even ideal.
“mixed review”
Great-location, location Mixed-bath updated, nice--tiny room, no room for suitcases, but spent little time there; perhaps ok for european inns. Only one elevator working, and had to ask front desk to turn it on, plus timer for stairwell timed out before reaching bottom. Bad-wouldn't print air boarding pass, sent to cafe several blocks away. Unacceptable-Requested they call a taxi, was CHARGED 10.8 EUROS for them to call!!
“tiny room not compatible with 4star rating”
If it were not for Ahmed , who was on duty when I and my daughter arrived, my previous request for a 2 bed room would not have been met; there was no record of my previous telephone call where the person had assured me my request had been taken due note of; Ahmed decided to give us the room assigned to someone else. It is also worth mentioning that I have no intention of taking advantage in the future of Expedia's special offers where names and details of the hotels are kept secret until you close the deal and pay, because this hotel was much worse than my expectations for a 4star hotel in Paris. Room too tiny, wi fi with weak signal, elevators that do not function, air conditioning that did not function. On the positive side, I can say the beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness of the room was first class.
“Sloppy management of pleasant place”
Lift did not work for 3 days we were there - no sign of concern by hotel staff. Wifi said to be in room, but actually only in lobby, and then with periods in which it did not work. Comfortable, old-fashioned 2.5 star place masquerading as 4-star, as so often in Paris. Good location, and fine if you need a lot of sleep.
“good value for money”
I was feeling slightly wary having read some negative reviews, however we were pleasantly suprised. The hotel was clean, staff were freindly and the location was great. You could pick holes in it if you want, the room was on the small side but it doesn't matter when you're out most of the time. I have stayed in lots of similar priced hotels in this area and I rated this one the best and would definately return here. We got a good room price from expedia and it really gave us value for money. If you something a bit more upmarket be prepared to pay a lot more euros but a short visit to Paris this hotel is pefectly fine.
“Nice hotel in brilliant position.”
The hotel is clean, the staff are pleasant and the rooms nicely furnished. It lacks in facitlites and suits best those that are out most of the time and want to come back to a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast is quite expensive- try Breakfast in America just along the road for really good breakfasts. The huge plus of this hotel is its position. Next to the Sorbonne and with the Pantheon round the corner it is in a quiet position but only a couple of minutes from the hustle and bustle of St Michael. Really handy for the museums and galleries.
“Good location for Latin quarter and close to metro!”
Hotel reasonably clean and comfortable. Would return but would probably choose a refurbished room depending on price. Ok for what we paid and good location for what we needed. Could do with more sockets for electrical items as had to unplug tv each time! Hairdryer also a bit iffy but comfortable beds which is the most important thing!
“A wonderful hotel in a wonderful city”
The staff could not have been lovelier - so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a tad small, but very clean and well maintained.
“R”
Very nice...
“Good Location, Intimate, with some issues”
Overall service was great & common areas welcoming and intimate. Room was adequate for a boutique hotel. My 2 issues were: Air Conditioning not very efficient, so slept with window open - overlooking the street. Also, advertised with internet access, but connection was so bad that I kept dropping my link. I would stay again for leisure, without a need for laptop access - and if the weather wasn't unexpectedly warm.
