“Well worth it - go go go!”
Wow - what a fantastic Hotel! The overall experience of staying at this hotel was 10/10. Versailles is such a wonderful town and most certainly overlooked by Paris. Having stayed in Paris many times before, this break offered a welcome change and a chance to unwind in beautiful surroundings. The Breakfast was splendid, the pool, gym and Hamman spa were great places to unwind, our room was lush and we had a magnificient view of the Chateau, too. One of the loveliest moments was sipping champayne cocktails on the veranda outside at night. In terms of location, you couldn't get any better and it is so easy to get there from GareDu Nord, just 2 simple RER trains away, and the route to Rive Droit offers a gorgeous view of Paris, and as long as you get the fast train (just 7 stops) it is easy peasy. The service at the hotel was marvellous and I can truly say that I was quite sad to leave, having stayed in Versailles for 3 nights-I wanted longer, i loved it. I would certainly recommend a brasserie called 'The Arcade' in the Place du Marche area, go for either for lunch or dinner, it's really good value for money and the food tastes great! Obviously check out the chateau, and as the hotel is next door to the chateau and the parks there are some great walks to be had. This hotel is stunning and I cannot wait to return. I seriously recommend it! If you are going - Enjoy! If you are not, you should do!
“The charm of the Trianon Palace Hotel”
'You are here to be spoiled' said the receptionist & the charm & unique setting of this wonderful hotel certainly did this. The rooms were luxurious & comfortable. The grounds were spacious & peaceful. Situated next to the Chateaux of Versailles meant within minutes you were walking through gardens bathed in sunlight & history. An incredible haven only 20 mins from Paris. Service & setting couldn't be better.
“Classy hotel”
Interesting and good value historical hotel of a high standard, very close to the chateau. I would use it again.
“Very plush hotel”
This hotel is luxurious and very well placed for visits to both the Palace of Versailles and Paris (via the RER from Versailles Rive Gauche). Breakfast is excellent and staff were very helpful. If you can get a good deal on B&B then it makes an excellent base for the area. We recommend the food and wine at Le Tire Bouchon in the market area.
“excellent location to visit versailles”
clean, efficient and staff friendly.Swimming pool and deck lovely after a long walk around near by gardens.(changing rooms not very exciting).Didn't eat at hotel but menus looked wonderful if a little pricey. Cocktail bar served excellent drinks.
“Lovely Experience, perfect for visiting Versailles”
Would recommend this hotel if you are only at Versailles for a short trip. We booked to stay bed & breakfast in the original building and were very lucky as one of the two rooms booked was upgraded to a very luxurious suite. The hotel is fairly expensive, but it is worth the extra for the convenience, especially if you include the breakfast option. One of our party has difficulty walking, so the location of the hotel is perfect as we were able to hire a golf buggy and drive round the gardens of Versailles easily. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist. Would definately stay at this hotel again and hopefully we would get a free upgrade again, however all of the rooms are of a very high standard and extremely comfortable, especially the pillows which we would have loved to have sneeked into our cases.
“One to Choose”
The location is superb if you are visiting Chateau de Versailles. The staff are really very helpful, especially at the concierge desk. Breakfasts worth having, the scrambled eggs are the "business". Rooms are really comfortable and clean. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
“Fantastic Experience”
I took my wife to Trianon Palace for a birthday treat with two friends and we weren't disappointed. We went by Eurostar the local trains and although it is a little bit of a walk the hotel is beautifully situated right on the edge of the Versailles Palace Gardens. Everything about this hotel made us go "Wow". We were greeted at the door and our luggage taken straight away. We were shown to the reception where the check in was fast and efficient. We were given a run down of the hotel facilities and where everything was. The room itself was huge and had everything we needed - including his and hers wash basins. Our room overlooked the massive gardens of the palace. Essentially we were there for the Saturday evening in the Ramsey restaurant. I had booked the chef's table as a surprise for my wife. We arrived at 7,30pm and didn't leave until nearly midnight. The food was sublime and the serve spectacularly professional. We went in to Versailles itself to experience the Sunday produce market and came back with so much cheese it will last for weeks. We dined in the Ramsey Bistro on the Sunday evening and the food was equally as good here as in the fine dining area. Overall, all four of us were totally blown away by the whole weekend. After the extensive restoration undertaken not so long ago they have done a truly magnificent job and are quite rightly proud of it. If we are ever in the area again we will without a doubt make an effort to visit the Trianon again.
“Amazing”
We had a truly amazing time, it was to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday, and couldn't have been bettered.
“first class hotel”
Hotel couldn't be faulted and for visiting Versailles was perfect, but we also wanted to visit Paris, trains in to the city were cheap, but dirty and crowded, I am surprised the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service, it would have made a huge difference, the journey from Gard de Nord to Versailees, was not pleasant and finding the right platform was a nightmare. Service at the hotel was first class, there must have been 4 staff for every guest, but meals etc. pricey, as you would expect.
