“Moulin Rouge district”

Business trips are notorious for 'plane, taxi, meeting, taxi, plane' - and never seing any of your surroundings. This hotel is 150 yards from the Moulin Rouge, perfect for meetings in Central Paris and a spot of sightseeing. Lots of restaurants nearby. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

“Pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable hotel.”

We booked one of the "superior" rooms so cannot comment on others. However, our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Blanche Metro. The staff were helpful and friendly.

“Charming little place”

I stayed in Paris last year and went for a much more expensive hotel. This time I decided to go for value rather than luxury as I spend very little time in the hotel when in Paris.This hotel however provided both quality and comfort. Rooms were clean fresh and very quiet. Staff were extremly friendly and helpful at all times. Area is a bit dodgy but dont let that put you of as Montmatre is right on your doorstep. Breakfast not great valye but we used the local patiseries and supermarket at the end of the block. I would use ut again as Blanche Metro is within 100 meters which makes it easy to get to any of Paris's attractions

“nice hotel but not for families”

very friendly,welcoming and helpfull staff,clean hotel,big room and nice terrace.few meters away from metro. only one thing i wasn't happy with is the surrounding area ... very close to moulin rouge, sometimes noisy at night,and of course weard shops close by not suitable for children to look at ...

“great hotel”

Great hotel. Very clean. Situated off the main road which meant that it was very quiet. Just 1 mile away from Gare du Nord which is ideal for the Eurostar. Just 1 hiccup; sold as having free internet but in fact, wad told at booking in that the internet wasn't free and would have to pay when I logged on. This was apparently a mistake in their part which is being sorted out at the moment. Good hotel though. Highly recommended.

“Excellent Central Location”

This was our first trip to Paris so were unsure where to stay. Picked the Blanche Fontaine due to its location and closeness to the Moulin Rouge! Well couldn't have picked better. Hotel was 300mtrs form Moulin Rouge and also from BLANCHE Metro Station. The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful nothing was too much trouble(except for making a cup of tea, this took a while). Room was on 4th floor, very quiet and extremely comfortable with a good en suite, shower/bathroom with everything needed including hair dryer. Room had its own mini safe which was great for leaving the expensive items and passports. Didn't use the breakfast facilities as found this was a touch pricey, very good cafes close by. If we ever go to Paris again wouldn't hesitate to book the Blanche Fontaine. Easy to get around by foot or metro from there.

“Lack of communication”

I bought a 3 night stay for my parents celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary - they were very pleased, loved the location of the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast. As for me though, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of communication with the reception personel. I was aranging a third party payment and although reassured by the reception manager that everything was put in the reservation system (many e-mails exchanged) - my parents were still asked to pay the bill at their departure. A bit embarassing for me, a bit stressful for my parents as they do not speak French - if I did not speak to the receptionist on the phone I am afraid my parents would be made to pay for the expenses. So if you pay for the stay of your loved ones - it is something to think about and ensure that the arrangements are really made. Other than that - my parents really enjoyed their stay and that's what important.

“great offer”

I had stayed in JAN 2009. The hotel is 3min walk to subway station and super market and Moulin Rouge. Quiet and clean, have a good access for sight seen. Actually the shower in my room was braking and could not use. You'd better check the facilities before you get in.
