“not worthy of the 4 star rating posted.”

The hotel was shabby though not dirty. There was no restaurant just a frozen food and sandwich bar with a microwave in the room. The desk was not always manned so not possible to call reception or switchboard. There was no clock in the room. Staff were polite but not keen to help. Definitely not worth the 4 star rating listed in expedias description of the hotel.

“Great hotel room! No restaurant...”

It's the perfect hotel if you are leaving early from CDG Paris airport. My mom and I had a HUGE room! It was very nice, with a huge bathroom! The front desk workers were very friendly and speak English. There is a shuttle to the airport. There are several Novotel hotels in the area, so be careful which one you book at. This one is NOT the closest to the airport. We didn't mind a short shuttle ride, but just be aware of which hotel you are booking at. There is no restaurant in this hotel! There is an area where you can buy sandwiches and snacks, but the sandwich was really gross. There is an area close by that has restaurants, but when you are tired it's nice to have a restaurant in the hotel. We would stay here again! It's very clean and the rooms are huge!

Area recommendations

There is nothing to do around this hotel. It is only good for an airport hotel, NOT for seeing Paris at all. It was perfect for what we needed it for!

“convenient ,comfortable, good value”

friendly service at reception. if you like modern european design, the rooms are 'fun', even if slightly worn. there were several surprise complimentary goodies in the room as well - cakes, natural candies, interesting teas, spring water. for a nice dinner, eat at the Marriot next door - creative menu with some options marked 'healthy' on the menu - delicious.

“Not a 4 star hotel”

I selected this hotel for my recent stay in Paris based on its location (close to the airport) and 4 star rating. As advertised, location was exactly what I was looking for. Close to the airport, in a nice area with some restaurants located within 10 minute walk. Condition of my room was rather disappointing. It is relatively clean, however it is not well maintained property. Room had number of noticeable cracks in furniture and chairs had stains which make me very uncomfortable to sit on them. Night before my departure I ask the front desk to order taxi for me for 8 AM next morning as I needed to go to Paris to attend meetings. I was bit surprised next morning when I found out that taxi was never ordered even though they had a note from the day before with details that I provided. Overall, with number of other hotels on the same street, i would select Best Western, Holiday Inn for my next stay.

“good value”

This is a fairly decent hotel for an airport stay. The kitchen features are superfluous for an ovennight airport stay. The breakfast is rather skimpy for the price. The lobby is spartan and minimal.

“Great Restfull Layover”

Located near CDG airport. We chose it as a layover while flying home from Madagascar. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, that was the main reason we chose it, and the overall good reviews on other review sites. We checked in early, no problem. Restaurants near the hotel, they have a nice walking map you can pick up in the lobby. Be aware, the cafes, they all close between 2 pm and 5pm sometimes 7 pm, ya know - the French. Shuttle pick-up is hard to find in the airport, ask at any Information booth as we did, and they steer you in the right direction. The pick up from the hotel back to CDG was quick and easy!

“Great stay at CDG in Paris”

There are only two negatives to this hotel, make sure you get on the right bus, there are two Novotel's and I got onto the wrong bus, however, two very nice bus drivers were able to connect to get me on the right one. The other negative is, after arriving late at 9.30pm there wasn't any restaurant service but with only a 2min walk, I had a wonderful meal at the Marriott right next door. Great value for a very modern, quiet and clean room near the airport, shame about no restaurant but a 2 min walk is not bad for a good meal next door.
