Paris charm!

Posted 04-Aug-2014
If you are looking for comfort and charm you cannot do better . Our room had a tiny balcony perfect for breakfast and floor to ceiling windows in the bath that opened onto a charming courtyard. The four poster bed was perfect and the staff were remarkable. Loads of fine, reasonably priced bistros all complimented the perfect location give minutes from Notre Dame. Wow!

beautiful, boutique hotel, perfectly French

Posted 25-Apr-2014
Exactly what we wanted, boutique, very French, comfortable hotel. Each room is individual, beautiful decor, romantic and full of character with French doors/windows. Friendly, helpful staff, great location, and a great bonus is that it's actually a really quiet location, away from traffic noise.

Wonderful and quiet location, very helpful staff

Posted 08-Nov-2013
Pros: size, location, staff, charm
Cons: Our bathroom occasionally had a smell - hate to mention it because it was always very clean - might have been coming from seal in toilet?
We stayed four nights here and it was the perfect place for us. Loved the beautiful neighborhood and the front desk staff gave us terrific recommendations for bistro meals and classic French food. There are only 13 rooms in this hotel and our room was small but charming and clean.

Very good, quiet location

Posted 19-Sep-2013
Cons: Cleaning of the bathroom grout.
Charming hotel with a very helpful staff. We liked having the extra space of a sitting room and separate bedroom. Also, nice to have the small kitchenette. The breakfast was a good value for the price. The bathtub grout was not clean, but was completely redone after we requested that it be cleaned. Quiet location and within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, and the metro.

A classic Parisian hotel in the Latin Quarter

Posted 20-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
After a lot of research, we really wanted to stay in a hotel with a classic French interior and feel. Residence Henri IV did not disappoint to say the least. Centrally located in Paris, and an easy walk to Notre Dame, the Panthéon, and Place Monge... all without feeling overly touristy. We will definite return again!

Nice hotel close to Notre Dame

Posted 09-Aug-2013
Pros: Location!
Cons: Slightly dusty. Also, the breakfast service was not good.
Location: Close to Notre dame with access to about everything. We walked to most sites from here.
Cute room at the top of the hotel with mini-kitchen and a balcony.

A Gem in Paris

Posted 18-Jun-2013 on Hotels.com
We loved our stay at Residence Henri 4. The staff was so helpful. We were first time to Paris visitors, and they helped us with so many details, always so graciously. Our room was very nice, roomy by Paris standards, and very reasonable in price for the location, a 5-10 minute walk to Notre Dame, yet in a quiet area. The nearby restaurants the staff recommended were excellent. Our group of 5 couples were all very pleased with them. The breakfast was quite nice in a lovely little breakfast room, a bargain for the price. Would book again if returning to Paris.

Excellent hotel in a great location

Posted 09-Jun-2013
Pros: We could easily walk to so many interesting sights on both sides of the river and we could find hundreds of places to eat, drink, and watch.
Cons: Shuttle the hotel booked for us picked us up and then made us get out to seat another couple. We had to take a taxi. This was not the hotel's fault.
Location: Restaurants, bars, a fabulous open air market, book stalls, Luxemburg gardens, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Pantheon, The Louvre, the Latin Quarter
We had a wonderful time in Paris mainly because we stayed at this hotel. The staff was professional and courteous and the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was prime. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet dead end street on the left bank, just a short walk from Notre Dame, a quiet refuge from the crowds of tourists.

Our stay at the Residance Henri

Posted 20-May-2013
Pros: Staff, cleanliness,
Cons: expanded menu, breakfast.
Location: location is excellent close to shopping as well as the Metro line that connects to Museums
We really enjoyed our stay at the Henri. This is our second time and the hotel has spiffed up in the last 18 months including new paint, bathroom floors and in our case the kitchen and refrig. Bed is comfortable and wifi service excellent. Plus we had the front desk order us a car for returning to the airport=better than a taxi and cleaner and cheaper. Breakfast was consistent and reasonable. Wish the sound system was updated for the iphone 4 and 5--would have been nice. The location is outstanding in the 5th arr. Close to Metro as well as some of the best reasonable restaurants in Paris.
