“Awesome!”

The hotel recently got a total makeover. The courtyard was still under works when we stayed there. The remodeled room was modern chic with a French touch. The staffs were friendly and attentive. Great hotel!

“Boutique feel in a hotel only”

Great location - 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and with its own lovely garden hidden away. Like Paris in general, expensive but on a par with other local hotels. Great decor and breakfast.

“Good Old Standards Maintained”

Old fashion standards much appreciated. Room was small but deco with comfy bed. Maid service perfection itself.

“Good value for money”

Location is excellent! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great in the court yard. If a do not disturb sign is on your door, then do not disturb.

“Hotel in Paris”

The staff is disappointing. I had specifically called to make sure the two rooms of the reservation be close to one another and they mixed up one room with another reservation made by someone else. At breakfast, i only got the menu after i had started the buffet, so i had to pay buffet price instead of choosing something more specific to my liking. Their martinis are not good!

“VERY poor service, SMALL room, almost NO WINDOW, WALK accross courtyard”

We did not like our stay at this hotel because: 1. We had to walk through an open courtyard under construction to get to our room. It was raining sometimes so this wasn't nice. 2. Our very small room had a very small window opening to a small terrace littered with cigarette buds, feathers and bird excrement. In addition the previous, this terrace was largely occupied by a big ventilation device. Apart from these things, our view was a wall of a neighboring building, with very little natural light. 3. Service at the reception was very poor. We had the misfortune to communicate to an arrogant and not helpful front desk person. 4. We complained about our room and we were shown another one at the second floor. The size and the view of this room were exactly the same as of the previous one, apart from another large ventilation device in our sight and much lower ceilings. 5. After repeated complaints the hotel staff said they will find something else for us but they didn't. 6. Front desk personnel kept misinforming us that they tried to contact us about changing our room, but they never reached us. We don't think this is actually true. 7. We booked and paid in advance a superior room including breakfast for two people. It turned out that they wanted to charge us for breakfast. We had to intervene with the reception staff again. They were in disbelief when we produced a written proof of reservation that stated breakfasts for two people were included in the original price.
