Perfect location on a quiet street.

Location: Just a short walk to Place St. Michel and Notre Dame
This a small hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and more of a B&B atmosphere.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff in a fabulous

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Fabulous service, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive.
We found the staff to be extremely polite and helpful without being intrusive. The room was very pretty, well appointed and very clean. The breakfast we had was delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect for easy access to main sites of Paris and lovely walks along the Seine. We will be pleased to stay again when we are next able to go to Paris.

Friendly hotel in a great location

Posted 06-Sep-2014
Pros: The location and the friendliness of the staff. Free wifi, I will only stay at a hotel that provides free wifi! ,
Cons: Rooms are smallish, when I booked and paid my receipt said tax included but the hotel insisted I pay a Paris tax.
Location: Very close to Notre Dame and an easy walk to the Louvre and the D'Orsay.
The hotel was located in the 6th. Easy access to public transportation . Rooms nicely decorated . Great history associated with the hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we walked in the door this stay was superb. Henri at the front desk couldn't be more personable or more helpful. The hotel was charming, the breakfast delicious, the bed comfortable and bathroom well equipped

Charming Hotel in Quiet Neighborhood

This hotel is very, very charming. The owner pays close attention to every detail. The rooms were nice sized with large bathrooms. It it is a moderately long walk to the sights but not bad. I would stay here again.

Charming hotel in a great location

Posted 29-Jun-2014
We were in Paris for six nights and this hotel was a perfect place to be- close to the lively Latin Quarter but also close walking distance to many of the 'must see ' Paris landmarks. We were given an outstanding welcome from Henri at the front desk- during our stay he continued to assist with any enquiry we had and ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Our room was very quaint (bathroom small) but was a lovely place to be after a long day/ night of taking in all that wonderful city of Paris has to offer. Would recommend .

Should be a Two Star

The elevator was as large as a broom closet at our cottage/cabin; wife and I took separate trips and we were thinking that we might have to send our luggage separately, but each of us was able to squeeze in with the one large suit case . Room was a little larger. A large person might not be able to negotiate the squeeze into the bathroom and anyone with arthritis or knee problems might not be able to handle the steps up to the shower. (I lived in Europe for two years in my 20s so I know hotels can be tiny. On the tiny hotel scale this would get a 3.2)

Great location

Posted 28-May-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was more than adequate as a base in a great location, near the Metro and the Latin Quarter. Having stayed in Paris before, do expect small hotel rooms however this was far more 'bijou' than expected. The photos on the website do create an impression of a more characterful and spacious city haven than we found. The sum total of the hotel is a nicely decorated lobby and tiny dining & seating area and a tiny 2 (slim) person lift. Having made a moderate request for a decent view, we were disappointed to be on the top floor with a sloping roof ceiling over the bed and a skylight view of rooftops and pigeons. Not a hotel for anything other than a base.

Amazing history, close to everything

Fantastic service, close to all the sights, but on a quiet street in Saint Germain. Each room in this 400 year old building are unique.

Small, friendly and close to everything

Extremely friendly and helpful staff runs this small boutique hotel in a very good neighborhood very close to Notre Dame, Le Louvre, and many other sights. Very good continental breakfast for decent price. Room and elevator somewhat on the small side, not great for wheelchair access, for example. Convenient access to subway, shopping, universities and more. Great value through hotels.com.
