“Nice 4 star hotel”

“Great Experience!”

For the price I paid and the convenience of being so near La Defense, I would highly recommend this hotel. In Paris intramuros rooms as usually tiny and cleanliness is always an issue. I also enjoyed the "free" breakfast and the fitness room.

“Ex-Sofitel, needs a little updating”

Stayed here 10 years ago and it was Sofitel and very luxurious. 10 years on, its owned by Pullman, and hasn't been updated since. Still a nice hotel, but they need to spend some money soon.

“Good business class hotel”

Nice reception area. Hotel room, had all the necessary creature comforts. Just melted into bed after a hard day ...was unbelieveably comfortable and had the most peaceful night's sleep in a long time. The downers ...the gym (limited equipment, and lukewarm hamman), low shower pressure in the morning, and the food (not the quality, but the fact you can't get any hot food after about 10pm in the bar or via room service). Overall experience though was good.

Getting there

Use the metro/RER to La Defense ... it takes a lot less time than a taxi,

“Good in general”

hotel in general is good. room is a bit smaller than i would have expected for a 4-star paris hotel. Breakfast is only so-so... and the staff who works there seems always in a hurry to close out the breakfast buffet so you can't eat anything from it, which is somewhat frustrating. This hotel tends to always want to nickel-and-dime you though - one example is when i ask to borrow a France-to-US adapter they said they could only sell me one for 15 euro. I've been in many hotels in Europe before and this is the ONLY hotel that won't lend you an adapter.

“Excellent trip”

The hotel is excellent and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was superb. The bed was the most comfortable ever. The hotel is a little away from most of the attractions, but this is not a major issue because it is right near the metro and RER station. For days out it is perfect but be aware that nights out have to end before the metro stops running

Getting around

Use the metro line 1 to La Defense in preference to the RER where possible - its a better experience. We bought a zone 1-6 Visite Paris card which allowed us to use all trains for the whole trip, including to and from the airport and Versailles. It was great value

“Great Hotel although away from main Paris attractions”

Very comfortable hotel with all amenities thought of and provided for. Modern decor, nice breakfast.

Area recommendations

In in Paris as a tourist, would recommend to stay in the centre of Paris - near the Champs Elysses/ Arc De Triomphe area to get a true feel of the city

“Great Hotel in La Defense”

Is the 6th time I was in Paris but the first time staying in La Defense and is definitely one of the best hotels there. Is just 3 minutes walk from the Metro Station and close the The Grand Arch. Is also very convenient if you have a car since it has a good parking. Staff were very professional and helpful. They have provided an excellent service. Breakfast was excellent and full of choices. Rooms are comfortable and beds are very dangerous for Paris.....you want to stay in bed all the day!!! =). I can't wait to go back!
