“Need to renovate the bathroom”
The bathroom was very small, but that I can cope with it. But the condition of the wall next to the shower, damp and black so probably full of mushrooms, discontended me.
“Great centralized location!”
It's comfortable but the women may not like it (no frills). Street noise is excessive with window open until about 2AM. Comp. breakfast is great!
“nice n cheap best location bathroom extremely small”
really nice and convinent area. near almost everything. You can reach the hotel by subway(metro), Anvers station and Gard du nord. don´t expect to much, you get what you pay for. clean and friendly staff willing to help. We really enjoyed Paris staying in this hotel for 5 nts.
“I love Paris in the winter...”
The Hotel was as expected, but the staff was friendlier than expected.
“My favorite Paris, Fr. hotel.....”
The hotel location is just about PERFECT, the hotel was great... I found the staff to be helpful. And the hotel location near just about everything. I have no complaints... I liked the hotel so much, I stayed an extra week.... and looking forward to booking again for my return to Paris.... One recommendation bring a GPS with you, then you will find so much more than looking things up on a paper map... Also bring some seriously comfortable walking shoes...
“Low cost hotel in good location.”
This is a conveniently located budget hotel, within walking distance of Gare du Nord, and close to Montmartre and a number of Metro stations. However it is hardly a luxury hotel, having very small poky rooms and noisy wooden floors. The bathroom was so small I could hardly move in it and certainly couldn't close the door when using the toilet, although as a single room it didn't matter too much. The bed was comfortable and the room reasonably clean and well serviced. The inclusive breakfast was basic and seating space limited. Staff reasonably friendly. Quiet location.
“a nice Paris pension”
We will stay here again. Great location, very friendly staff, clean hotel.
“Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole”
We were eventually given a twin which was on two floors with a VERY narrow spiral staircase in between. The en suite was like a broom cupboard with the basin overlapping the toilet making it very difficult to use the toilet. There was a hole in the floor, the door frame to the en suite was disintegrating and the decor was in a general state of disrepair. There were no fire safety notices in the room. One rough blanket per bed rather than duvets and only one pillow per bed. Insufficient tables for breakfast so we had to hang around in reception. When others were waiting too it was difficult to know when it was your turn to sit down. I would not stay there again. Had I booked in for longer than two nights I would have asked to move hotels.
“Perfect for small budget”
The hotel was great - nice small place - the building is located across from the former residence of the famous composer Georges Bezet - pretty cool. Breakfast was nice, rooms clean. Good deal for the price
“Not Impressed”
Good location, close to Gare du Nord, staff very helpful. Hotel itself was very dirty. Hotel room was smelling badly, we had to keep windows open all the time and the problem was that there is a bar in the street so it was really noisy. We could not enjoy our sleep because we needed to keep the window open all the time to alow flow of fresh air hence noisy drunkards sometimes fighting on the street and sound of cars constantly. I had blocked nose because of the bad smell in the room. I never enjoyed staying at this hotel, it was a nightmare. I made sure i left the room as early as posible and came back very late in the night.
