Cleaner Stole Something From My Room
One of the most important things about any hotel stay, no matter how expensive or inexpensive the hotel, is being able to trust the people who are cleaning your room, because (1) you can't possibly put everything in the safe and (2) they clean the room when you are not there. I left a rather expensive Japanese towel in the shower to dry, and forgot to pack it when I checked out of the room. After I had arrived at my new hotel in other part of the city, I realized I had left the towel in the shower, and called the hotel, and told them I left it in my room. They said that the woman who cleaned my room had left for the day, and to call the next day. The next day, instead of calling, I went to the hotel, and explained that I left the towel in the shower. And that I wasn't 99% certain I had left it -- I was 100% certain I had left it. They asked the woman who cleaned my room, and she said she didn't see it. So, either the woman (1) kept it or (2) threw it away (given that it was an expensive towel, she probably kept it). And she is either a liar or a thief (or both). If you read the other reviews, you will learn that this is not the first time a cleaner has stolen something from a guest of this hotel. The hotel refused to compensate me. So, please take my advice, and stay elsewhere, unless you don't mind your room being cleaned by thieves.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was also very convenient. In a perfect world I would have loved an iron, a larger safe (to fit my laptop), and a tea kettle for the room. Overall it was perfectly nice. The bed was very comfortable, and even though my room was on the first floor facing the street, it was quiet. Being super close to a Monoprix and a CityPharma was a nice perk as well!

The hotel is well located, it’s an easy 3 minute walk to Place de la Nation. The staff is very nice and professional. They even accommodated my request to check in Earle (in the morning). My room was small, but quiet, and perfect for 1 person (or 2). It had everything I needed + a comfy bed. I have absolutely no complaints with Pavillon Nation! (It’s also right across from a huge Monoprix)

While located out of the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel was perfectly located around some cute cafes and most importantly, less than a 5-min walk to a metro station that hosts many, many lines. Getting around was EASY!

Big problem: in room safe did not work, was broken actually. Staff gave us key to an unoccupied room to use that safe. No luck, that safe did not function either. Effort was made by staff, but no result. We were told that technician is not available on weekend. Somehow, we got the feeling that they are aware of the problem, but are not really addressing it. On a positive note, there was a cell phone in the room one could take along and make free calls during the stay at the hotel. Details here: handy.travel

Nice quiet room in central Paris
I booked this hotel in a hurry, without much research, and was therefore delighted to find it met all my needs. Firstly, the room was facing back onto the courtyard, and super-quiet. It was clean. It had air conditioning, useful in a very hot spell in August. It was small but well appointed, with a good bathroom. And finally the staff were helpful. Just what I needed, at a good price!

Good place to stay for a week
I spent a week at the Pavillon Nation, during the heatwave, so the efficient air conditioning was most welcome! I wanted to stay somewhere away from the tourist areas, and for me this location is ideal. It's easy to get anywhere, being close to Nation station - 4 metro lines and RER A - and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. I recommend it, and would certainly consider going back again next time I visit Paris.

Great time, good hotel! The service was subpar. There are some really great employees but a lot of them are unhelpful, and one even doesn’t speak English, and is rude with it. The rooms are extreeeeemely small and there IS NO king bed, only a queen bed. And there is no door or curtain on the shower. The mini fridge is cool, NOT cold. However, room cleaning EVERYDAY! Extremely close to the metro, great food around. Butttt you need to leave your key everytime you leave and all you need to get it back is your room number. Even when employees rotate, and don’t know who you are, making it easy for anyone to possibly enter your room.

I only stayed one night but I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The front desk were friendly and made check-in and check-out easy; additionally, they printed and guided me directions on how to get to the airport. I loved how there was a Monoprix across the street and the train station was just under a five minute. The room was tiny but enough for one person. I will definitely choose this hotel when I go to Paris next time.

Getting better !
Second stay in last 5 months, and major improvement is a new manager, keen to deal with faults and niggles in rooms ! Breakfast area is attractive, spacious, clean and well organised. Good base for visitors, with excellent public transport links to the whole city and to CDG airport. Only items missing from a personal "wish list" would be for some non-French language channels on the TV, and for tea/coffee making facilities in rooms, please . . ? Overall, would now be happy to return, though !

Great stay
Great hotel, great neighbourhood. Very easy to get to. RER just round the corner. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. A lot of good cheap food around.

The rooms are small for 2 people. They all have king size beds which and closets with no room for big suitcases. The rooms were clean though. The breakfast was good as well. The main issue was that we got robbed of some money. The hotel receptionist and manager said it wasn’t their responsibility because we didn’t use the safe, however it is still very upsetting to realize that hotel staff is going thru your personal belongings as the money was not left visible at all. At the end we came to an agreement with the hotel receptionist to relieve some of our charges in exchange to the loss.

Cute and quaint in a cool neighborhood. I loved being away from tourists and close to all forms of transit - Metro, taxi stand, bus. The rooms are very small but clean. It’s basically all you need. Decent breakfast too if you decide to eat at the hotel.

Well located.
Room clean and comfortable, but neither a hot drink-making facility, nor any non-French language channels on the TV. Maintenance requests to reception - 3 times in first half of stay - effectively deferred or ignored. Gold star to Olga, also at reception, for diligent security check before handing the room key to me. Bathroom ceiling, base for wash handbasin, and shower mixer tap all looked a little "tired." Area - Place de la Nation - has excellent rail and bus links to the rest of the city.

Clean and convenient hotel with great staff
We booked this hotel due to its vicinity to the AccorHotels Arena very last minute and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Our executive room was spacious, comfortable and clean all we needed for one night. We would definitely use again as a base to explore Paris.

Fairly easy to find & short walk between two metro stations as well as several cafes/ restaurants. Staff were friendly enough (& spoke English). If you've never been to Paris, be aware that rooms are small - this one is no exception but was so small we had nowhere to stash luggage, constantly tripping over each other and had to leave bathroom door open just to sit on the toilet! The room reeked of cigarettes when we entered despite our reservation guaranteeing smoke-free. We have never 'slept' in a more uncomfortable bed; very large caved in area on one side of the queen sized bed which squeezed us down to a twin size as we could not sleep on that side. As we were on the first floor the constant noise from the street made relaxing difficult but as we were typically exhausted at the end of the day this didn't affect sleep. Few in-room amenities; no coffee/tea maker, no closet, no blow dryer. The exhaust fan in the bathroom & one lamp was broken. Housekeeping staff disturbed us most mornings by knocking on our door early to ask if we needed it clean at 8 am - my husband was in the middle of showering! Most if the time we didn't hear other patrons except occasional door slamming, smelling marijuana smoke and one lady thoroughly enjoying herself one evening (more power to her). Breakfast is 9€ pp but we chose nearby cafes for un cafě/petit dejeuner. The hotel was alerted to some of our concerns the first day via Expedia and chose not to address them. Would never stay here again.

I stayed for 20 days for the location and convenience, easy to metro (Paris subway) from CDG to anywhere metro leads to. Within walk distance to rue de Charonne, which provides many good restaurants and reasonable prices.

Difficult to find...
In defense of the hotel. My fiance and I did not learn any French before our visit to Paris and that was a HUGE mistake. If we plan to return learning French is a must to get around. The maps are confusing and with no GPS. We got lost twice trying to find the hotel.

The Hotel is well located. The personnel is exc.
The Hotel is well-located, the personnel is excellent, specially Anwar, Olga, and Diallo among others. The lady who takes care of the Breakfast is nice and friendly. I recommend that the Hotel update their fridges and replace the missing lamp bulbs. The cleaning is good and so is the service. I do recommend the hotel to those who are not looking for luxuray. Smallest room ever
The room was clean but was so small that one had so walk sideways to get around the end of the bed to the other side of the bed without going over the bed. There was do pot to boil water for tea. The staff was very nice and purchased a nice one along with two mugs for our second day on. Everything was adequate but the size was extremely small.

Far away from city centre but nice area
Staff were all lovely and friendly, room a good size and clean. Location is quite far from main attractions so be prepared to take the metro about 20 stops to the Eiffel Tower. Ace little bar/restaurant across the road that did good food and drinks at a reasonable price (Le Cantal) with English speaking staff. Breakfast at the hotel is €8.50 a day per person but worth it, we had for two days and enjoyed the easiness of it being at the hotel :)

Great and helpful staff and good location
My wife and daughter and myself spent 3 days at this nice hotel. The front desk guys- especially Yacine- were very warm at welcoming us and went the extra mile in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They knew the surrounding and where to go and even helped me download my phone photos using their computer. A supermarket is just in face of the hotel and the area is filled with coffee shops and restaurants. You can find anything you need in the neighborhood. Plus, 2 metro stations are close around.

Great price, great location!
I've stayed here a few times and I have never been disappointed. This trip I was treated to an executive room for the same price as a standard one. The staff recognized me and made me feel right at home. Access to four Metro lines and the RER A make this neat hotel ideal for travel any destination inside or outside Paris.
