“A perfect base for visiting Disney & Paris”

However, despite this difficult start we found the Village to be a perfect base for our visit to Disney (15 mins drive away) and Val D'Europe station (5 mins drive away) for the RER train (Line A) into Paris. Our 3-storey, 3-bed accommodation had a lounge, kitchenette, TV with both BBC1 & BBC World channels on the ground floor. The 1st floor had a double room, a twin room, a bathroom & separate toilet. The 2nd floor had a double room with a balcony and an ensuite bath, sink & toliet. There are large built-in wardrobes in every bedroom for hanging clothes and storing cases. There where 2 easy to use combination safes for keeping your passport, cash etc. Surrounding and neighbouring the the Village there is only residential apartments, there is a supermarket in Montevrain (5 mins away) but it did not open until after 10am and was not open late either. There is a huge Auchan Supermarket in the Val D'Europe shopping centre (10 mins drive away) it's open early and stays open till 10pm with free parking. The style of this accommodation is unusual with blocks of indvidual 2-bed & 3-bed houses linked together. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Village as an ideal base for a family holiday at Disney although a car is essential to get to Disney, the station and Val D'Europe.

“Great townhouses for the family”

We were on a trip to Eurodisney and were looking for somewhere to stay with kids. We're from Australia and there is an abundance of self catering accomodation here, but were struggling to find somewhere near Eurodisney. We found Montevrain and booked it quickly! It was great, plenty of parking, some lawn for the kids to run on, swimming pool and multilingual receptionist when my poor french failed, good self catering accomodation - plus it was only about a 10 minute drive from Eurodisney and 5 minutes to a very large shopping complex. I would definately go back again.

“Plenty of room for the family”

We stayed here with our two teenage daughters to be close to Disneyland and the Val d'Europe shopping centre.They loved having a big bedroom each. Our unit was three storey with a balcony on the top off the master bedroom. Plenty of room. As it was July it was just very hot and there was no air conditioning. The swimming pool is good for cooling off though. Excellent value for money for the standard and facilities.

“We got a very nice upgrade”

We got a much nicer appartment than what we had hoped for with our own balcony. My daughter had her own floor with bathroom seperate from ours. Staff where very helpful and the whole experience was very good.

“Lost in the desert”

Not a hotel, but a drive-to travel villa community. Very limited office hours where very limited english is spoken. You will feel imprisoned if you do not have a car or speak fluent french. We saw no restaurants, groceries or convenience stores within walking distance. Although it supposedly has a free shuttle to Disney, no one could explain in english how to take it to the park. We were forced to use expensive taxis. Also, I spent months trying to communicate with office to learn answers to basic questions and they never responded to a single e-mail.

Beds too hard otherwise I have no criticism of this hotel. It was convenient and well placed for local area and going to eurodisney. Excellent choice for families. Lovely staff.

“So much potential”

We stayed 3 nights for the sale price of 2 in February 09. We arrived late and had called ahead for the key code (thanks for the advice previous users!) and were able to get in. However, the apartment was frigid. The heaters had the knobs removed and no instructions on how to turn on the heat. It literally took 12 hours to get minimally warm in the rooms. We slept with covers over our heads and still froze the first night. The dishes were not completely stocked so were short forks and bowls for our family of 4. There was NO toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish soap...nothing. Also, you are alloted one hotwater tank per 24 hours, when you run out you have to wait until it recharges during the night. Inexcusably, the toilet POURED water down onto the waterheater closet from the upstairs every time the toilet flushed. Yuck. Though when I reported it they did come over immediately to fix it. On the positive side, the rooms and living area was quite spacious. It was very nice to be able to cook food. I brought a portable grill (George Foreman style) and we had some great meals. There was only a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator and sink. But it did work quite well for our family. If you are planning on staying for awhile and come stocked well with food and soap, this hotel COULD be a wonderful secure place to stay.

“Park & Suites Village Marne La Vallée - Montevrain”

A parte l'arrivo traumatico descritto in precedenza e la distanza da Disneyland diversa da quella in descrizione(in realtà il parco non era raggiungibile a piedi in quanto c'erano 6 km di distanza), il resto è stato positivo: "Villaggio spazioso, pulito, conforme alla descrizione e ben collegato con la metro ed i mezzi pubblici a parte per quanto riguarda la sera (i mezzi dopo le 21 erano inesistenti)".

“Nun, wenn man viel platz brauch, sonst nichts zum emfohlen.”

Nichts mit dem beschreibung zum vergleichen. Viel platz in die Bungalows, aber alles total verlassen, keine möbilierte Terrassen, außerdem Terrassen und Balkon voll Schimmel, Spielzeugt das wir in die Terrase gelassen haben wurde geklaut, daher das die helfte von die Wohnung sind gemietet als Wohnsitz, nicht nur für die Urlaub. Den Pool, voll mit Algen, selbstverständlich geschlossen, eine totale enttäuchung, von alle für die kinder. Keine geschirspüle. Die Sauberkeit war o.k. Wenn man nur platz sucht, ist das Hotel O.K., sonst wurde ich das lassen. Nicht emfohlen.
