Decent and affordable hotel close to the metro

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Very good price-quality ratio. Very close to metro which is ideal when coming back at night. Staff was helpful but could be nicer. Generally clean bathroom and bedroom. Area is relatively busy, even at night, and safe.

Cons: Breakfast for 9 euros was a bit sparse
Very good value. Small but comfy room. But do be aware no A/C. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Week end break in Paris

Posted 13-Jul-2014
Hotel was easy to find, in a reasonable area of Paris & within walking or Metro distance of some fine dining experiences. Room was a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable. You get what you pay for so don't expect the Ritz!

First time in Paris

Posted 23-May-2014
I am so glad I ended here at this hotel. Having never been to Paris, I took a shot and I scored. The staff was wonderful, helpful, accommodating. They made sure that I had all that I needed for a trip of a lifetime. The room was the quintessential Paris room. The bed was lumpy, but that is my biggest complaint and honestly a lumpy bed in Paris, not so bad. I wish I had taken more time to explore the neighborhood. Make sure to visit the patisserie around the corner, Thevinin. Right near the metro. Oh I will say this, at the time of my stay the lift was not working. However i found that I could eat as many pastries as I wanted because of the walk to my room.

Within walking distance from many cafe's, etc.

Posted 21-May-2014
Pros: Loved the proximity to local attractions.
Cons: A functioning elevator would have been handy, but not really a problem.
Location: Very quaint just off the main street.
Didn't spend much time in the room. It was adequate for what we needed. Friendly and very helpful staff. Wonderful location, close to many restaurants, Starbucks, little shops, Etc., and close to the metro. Great stay!

extra comfy bed excellent reception service

Posted 02-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
Overall stay was very good got a nice welcome from man on reception who had a laugh and joke with us very down toearth lift was broke had to walk 3 flights of stairs but that was no fault of theirs as it was gettin fixed day we left bed was very very comfortable covers looked like they had stain on and curtains were stained but was far too late to mention this walls and bathroom a bit drab and could do with decorating but overall cant grumble for the price as it was very close to all major links and ammenities of paris pros definitely outweighed the cons :)

Nice and convenient...but small

Posted 13-Feb-2014
Pros: Location and pricing
Cons: The plug sockets seemed to blow a fuse quite frequently in the room we had.
Location: Two minutes form Port de Orleans metro station. Nice Cafes in the opposite direction...near Alesia....five minutes walk
1. Good location, two minute walk from the Port de Orleans Metro station. This provides excellent connectivity to anywhere you want to go. 2. If you plan to explore on foot, then you might find it a little far from the main centres of attraction, however, we did manage to stroll all the way to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre on different days. The walk is rather enjoyable and you can take in the Paris feel as you stroll along. 3. A few nice cafes down the Rue General Leclerc, near the Alesia metro station. Five minutes walk from the hotel. Ideal for dinner/ lunch. 4. The hotel rooms are small and basic. It is purely utilitarian....please do not go expecting luxury. That having been said, if you are largely looking at spending most of the day out, as we did, then it works nicely....the price being the attractive part. 5. Try to get a room within the first five floors....the elevator does not go to the sixth floor. 6. Oh, importantly, the walls are paper thin....we could hear the folks next door quite clearly....not a pretty picture that. 7. Overall a satisfactory stay....would probably stay again......mainly due to the price.

Close to orly - rooms at the 6th foor are terrible

Posted 08-Feb-2014
Staff can speak english. Very close to orly bus stop. elevator goes to 5th floor my room was at the sixth floor. Rooms at the sixth floor are smaller. Smell of humid and rust everywhere. But cheaper than other hotels in the neoghbourhood.
