Basic Paris city hotel

Posted 09-Oct-2014
Pros: Good location 2 mins from metro, quiet street, safe local area.
Cons: Wi-fi in rooms not good, slightly better in reception area.
Location: Well served by public transport and 15 mins from Notre Dame, Jardin Louxembourg, Blvd St Germain, and Seine. Good restaurants within 15 mins walk.
2 star B+B hotel in a good area, well served by bus, metro and tram. I used 9euro breakfast once, ok, but better value in local cafes. Value for money Paris hotel.

Fab little hotel was ideal for our limit budget!!!

Posted 21-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed her for 7 nights as part of my 1st wedding anniversary. We didn't want a swanky hotel but somewhere affordable and in a good, safe area. We were very pleased with this hotel. The bed was lovely and soft and very comfortable. The room was clean, ok there was a tear on the wallpaper near the bed but that would just be picky. The area is great, the nearest metro was 2 mins walk around the corner and there was a fantastic boulangarie and was easily walkable to the catacombs. Would definitely recommend this hotel if looking for somewhere safe and clean to stay with good nearly places to get things.

Decent and affordable hotel close to the metro

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Very good price-quality ratio. Very close to metro which is ideal when coming back at night. Staff was helpful but could be nicer. Generally clean bathroom and bedroom. Area is relatively busy, even at night, and safe.

Cons: Breakfast for 9 euros was a bit sparse
Very good value. Small but comfy room. But do be aware no A/C. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Week end break in Paris

Posted 13-Jul-2014
Hotel was easy to find, in a reasonable area of Paris & within walking or Metro distance of some fine dining experiences. Room was a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable. You get what you pay for so don't expect the Ritz!

Decent hotel - would go again

Posted 08-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
A decent hotel. As others said, you can hear people in neighbouring rooms talking. However, when I was there, they didn't talk a lot, so I enjoyed the otherwise extremely quiet hotel. Good area, good connections into the centre. I would definitely go again. Please note the lift was still not working, but they had a repair team in while I was there; so it may be running by now.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel itself was okay. Room size typical for Paris and having the private bathroom was nice, however it was small, had mold on the shower curtain, and the room smelled a little musty. The walls seemed to be paper thin because we could clearly hear the conversation of the people next door.

Good Value Hotel

Posted 28-May-2014 on Hotels.com
I am about to attend study abroad program with my school and came into Paris a few days early. Booked this hotel thru Hotels.com due to price and location near when I needed to be. It worked out very well. Easy walk to lovely park and a few neat cafe's. Not a bad introduction to my first 2 nights in Paris.

First time in Paris

Posted 23-May-2014
I am so glad I ended here at this hotel. Having never been to Paris, I took a shot and I scored. The staff was wonderful, helpful, accommodating. They made sure that I had all that I needed for a trip of a lifetime. The room was the quintessential Paris room. The bed was lumpy, but that is my biggest complaint and honestly a lumpy bed in Paris, not so bad. I wish I had taken more time to explore the neighborhood. Make sure to visit the patisserie around the corner, Thevinin. Right near the metro. Oh I will say this, at the time of my stay the lift was not working. However i found that I could eat as many pastries as I wanted because of the walk to my room.

Within walking distance from many cafe's, etc.

Pros: Loved the proximity to local attractions.
Cons: A functioning elevator would have been handy, but not really a problem.
Location: Very quaint just off the main street.
Didn't spend much time in the room. It was adequate for what we needed. Friendly and very helpful staff. Wonderful location, close to many restaurants, Starbucks, little shops, Etc., and close to the metro. Great stay!
