“Lovely Hotel”

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Staff were friendly. Nicely decorated bar/lobby area and rooms. Excellent location for attractions and the metro is almost opposite the hotel.

“Great modern hotel”

Great modern hotel, mainly used by business travellers. We had a top floor room, which had it's own roof terrace. This was great for relaxing after seeing the sights and before going out at night. Room was very large for Paris. Staff were very helpful and all spoke good English. Would definitely stay at again.

“Excellent”

Stayed here with small grandson. There was plenty of room for all 3 of us; no falling over each other. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the up-to-date bathroom a pleasure to use. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

“Great hotel, good location, helpful staff”

We stayed at this hotel during a three-day sightseeing visit to Paris. We found it very easy to get to with transport links direct from Charles de Gaulle airport to Gare Montparnasse with only a five-minute walk from there to the hotel. Hotel also located only five minutes walk to the closest metro station (Pasteur) which took you direct in only a couple of minutes to Eiffel Tower. From there, transport links via tourist buses made getting around Paris a doddle. Hotel staff were very helpful with our questions about getting around and were pleasant and courteous. Hotel room immaculate. Loads of places to eat in the Montparnasse area - a mixed range of prices on offer. Only downside was the hotel would not change travellers cheques - closest exchange in Gare Montparnasse. All in all a great stay!

“Fantastic hotel”

Has everything that you could hope for when on holiday in Paris. Great location with view at end of street of Eiffel Tower and good transport links nearby. Very clean, modern, well equiped hotel with helpful polite staff. We will stay here again when next in Paris.

“Impressed - great hotel and location.”

We chose this hotel based on other travellers reviews and were very impressed. The rooms were large by city standards - we had two adjoining double rooms with sofa beds for two adults and two teenagers - perfect. The rooms were clean and modern with excellent bathrooms. The breakfast was a bit pricey but plenty to choose from. The location was superb as it was nice and quiet but only a short walk to the metro and restaurants. We drove to Paris so the underground car park was brilliant but we didn't use the car around Paris as the metro was better. Our experience of the staff was positive as the ones we dealt with spoke good english. For us a highlight was being able to see the Eiffel Tower from the road by the hotel. We walked all the way to it on a beautiful August day then climbed up all 668 steps! We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.

“Don't Get Much Better”

Loved this hotel. It's a short walk from Montparnasse main line station, the metro and shopping district are right there as well. It's in quiet location, rooms are comfy, staff are amazing and the bar mixes a mean cocktail. There's a great little restaurant across the road that serves ace food at prices you won't believe for Paris. Can't recommend enough, will def be going back.

“Nice, clean, new hotel”

My wife and I stayed at the Novotel for 2 nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were responsive and attentive (we had our 7 month old in tow, and they provided a crib), and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were in a room facing the tracks, but didn't hear any train noises. Definitely a nice place to call home after walking all around Paris.

“Good Hotel But Somewhat Out of the Way”

Recently vacationing in Europe for about a month, I stayed in many hotels. This was one of the better hotels; it was modern, clean and spacious for European standards. The only thing that I did not like was that it was somewhat out of the way. All of the main tourist spots required a quick ride on the metro. The good thing is that the public transportation system is actually good in Paris. This is a good hotel if you don't mind not being centralized, walking and riding the metro.

“Very comfortable and contemporary hotel experience.”

My wife, eight month-old son and I stayed there for five days/four nights at the begining of August '07 and really enjoyed our experience there. It is a very comfortable and comtemporary hotel that is priced very reasonably. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and they all dealt gladly with any questions we had. It is very conveniently located near the metro, however, it is not especially easy to find when one exits the metro. The local parisennes were extremely helpful in trying to locate the hotel, but they were mostly unfamiliar with it. Our room did not have an especially good view, but that was not a proirity for us and we would highly recommend this establishment.
