“Very pleased”

An excellent little hotel, I shall certainly go back. The location is perfect - lots of good restaurants nearby, and super bakery next door. It must be said that breakfast at the hotel is almost non-existent (coffee and croissant), but the standard of the room and bathroom more than compensated.

“Good and cheerful”

The hotel was conveniently situated a good walk from Notre Dame and Pompidou centre and round the corner from Place des Vosges, also quite close to metro station. As we arrived too early to occupy our room the hotel looked after our luggage whilst we went to investigate the area and have some lunch. The breakfast was convenient, machine for coffee/tea, orange juice available an a selection of croissants and pains au chocolat (as many as you wanted). We also had a packed lunch which was very convenient as it meant we did not have to look for lunch or water to start the day!!! The use of free wifi in the room was also very convenient. The room was on the 5th floor, and the tiny lift did get us and our small luggage there. It was bright and had clearly been redecorated in a modern style. The bathroom was clean, and the shower arrangement meant that you could get water all over the floor as well. We did have a small problem with the water not being very hot on the last morning.The staff was very pleasant and always answered querries very quickly and efficiently. I would definitely go back to that hotel as it offered good value for service offered.

The hotel was small but conveniently placed for anyone prepared to do some walking.A continental breakfast and packed lunch were handy.The room was quite small and the toilet and shower more so.The place was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.OK for a short stay.The patio style opening window on the first floor with a knee height guard rail could pose a safety hazard

“value for money,”

The hotel was value for money. The location was convenient. The staff were helpful. It will be good to have a fridge facility in the room.

“A decent budget hotel in the heart of Le Marais”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. As other reviews have made clear the rooms can be on the small side, as was mine, but I cannot fault the appearance or cleanliness. The Shower/loo was small and I could rest my head on the handbasin when "enthroned". The soundproofing between rooms is not good and I could hear my neighbour snoring every night + on the last morning he started to practice on his cello. Had I been staying longer I would have had to complain. Again, as other reviews have indicated, the breakfast is minimal (Croissant,pain-au-chocolat + orange juice and/or a selection of free hot frinks from a machine) Overall, I was very happy to stay there and would return. It's worth noting that if, like me, you prefer a bath to a shower there are some rooms that do have them rather than just a shower tray. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. ( My stay was for 3 nights in November 2010)

“Very ordinary.”

Looks better on paper than it actually is. The bathroom was very small and awkward. had to sit sideways on the toilet because the shower was in the way. A nice touch is the lunch pack that you receive every day. Breakfast room is very cramped

“Clean but very small pod-like rooms”

Fantastic location for Le Marais. However, extremely small rooms-like pods and not as portrayed in the photos which was disappointing. It was clean but quite noisey with people in and out all the night partying
