Good hotel near the metro. Hotel in nice area.

Staff were helpful and kind when Expedia made a mistake with our room. Nice old fashioned Parisian hotel.

Not Impressed

Posted 22-Jul-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service, updated room, more amenities (even basic amenities such as having wine bottle openers and ice)
I was not impressed with this hotel at all. I felt that the advertisement/pricing on Expedia was deceptive. Expedia advertised this as discounted from $600 per night and I paid about $180. There is no way that this hotel could ever charge that much per night. I felt like the $180 per night that I paid was even a bit much. When I checked in around 6:00 pm, I was told that there were no rooms available except for on the first floor and the front desk clerk was relatively rude. I figured we would not be in the room much so it would not be a problem. When I got back to the room, the bathroom was filled with little flies. I immediately went to the front desk and another clerk placed me in a room on the fourth floor, which was funny considering I was told a few hours earlier that there was nothing higher up. I feel that you are not treated as well at hotels if you book through the discounted expedia rate, but that could just be my personal experience. I had to call multiple times for anything that I needed. I asked for ice and the hotel did not have any ice. I then asked for a wine bottle opener (since I couldn't chill champagne) and the bar tender came up to open the bottle of wine at that moment. They said they only had one bottle opener and could not leave it with me, so they had to open the bottle of wine right then. I usually stay at large chain hotels, but still, I have never seen this before. Overall, I feel that the hotel was overrated and I was not impressed.

great location near the Opera

Posted 18-Jul-2015
Pros: Main factor was location and air conditioning because the temperature was over 90f.
Cons: Bathroom needs update and restaurant needs more dinner options.
Location: Great location. Easy walk to Galleries Lafayette, The Opera, and the Louve.
Very beautiful hotel with large bedroom and bath, somewhat unusual for Paris. Great location near shopping, restaurants and the Opera. Received very friendly service from staff. Restaurant serves very good food but could use more entrée selections. Our room was on front of the building but noise was no factor. The bath, while large could use some refurbishing. The steak tartar is the best I have ever had throughout Europe.

poor experience

Posted 17-Jul-2015
The staff was not friendly at all at our arrival ! I made a reservation with a roll away bed and undortunatly the room was too small for an extra bed and the receptionist got very mad because he told me it was just a request !!!! Really not trying to solve my problem and being in extremely bad mood ! Finally they gave me a bigger room but i had to pay flr the upgrade when at reservation time i checked that we could fit a roll away bed ! I will not go back again or recomand it to friends ! And the ceiling of the room of the bathroom was very humid !

A French experience.

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: The character and customer service. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast choice was extensive.
Cons: The cooked breakfast needed to be kept hotter. Plumbing and some décor.
Location: Great central location with many attractions and shops walking distance away and a great tour bus to the more distant sights. Lots of bars.
When choosing the Millennium Hotel we ruled out the large chains as we wanted a hotel with character and a French feel. This hotel was full of charm and the staff, especially Ben, were extremely polite and helpful with excellent English. Our Canadian guests were thrilled with their stay and we intend to return in the near future

Quaint early 1900s-themed hotel in good location.

Posted 23-Jun-2015
Pros: We liked the early 1900s decorations for a quaint French style room and common areas, nice old-world bar, and staff.
Cons: There are only two things that could be improved: 1) refurbishment to take care of the many small cosmetic damages, and 2) new irons with steam.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of the Opera House and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars with a metro station on the corner.
The front desk and room service staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights for a leisure trip and were very happy with room, most of its amenities, location, and staff.

Centralt beliggende

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Location: Stormagasiner
Lidt dyrt Det forekommer lidt mærkeligt at man kort efter bestilling kan se samme værelse udbudt til en lavere pris og incl. morgenmad, ligesom 25 Euro forekommer lidt ublu.
