The hotel is a 5/10 minute walk from Lafayette and right by a metro station. The rooms are rather small but the bathroom facilities are modern albeit basic. Our room looks into someone else’s rooms so there is no privacy without the shades being drawn.

Location is excellent. Very small slow lift. No shelving for clothes. Room had .2 single beds but barely enough room to swing a cat. Two carry-on bags would be OK but more than that is really tight. Clean.

Room was ok. No slippers and robes. Requested towels, coffee and tea. Despite being told they would provide them didn’t and had to go and get them yourself. Also safe didn’t work. Told someone would come fix it but they too never arrived.

My room was painfully small. Because o where it was located, two beams were sloped in the room, making about half of the floor unusable. No counter space in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was supposed to be included in the reservation, but either the property or the travel agent made an unfortunate change.

Great location. Lovely clean room with everything you needed. Plenty of space. Many bars, restaurants and shops nearby too. Definitely would return and recommend. Paris is beautiful.

Lift out of order while my 3 nights stay, the room smelt holible, I had to open the window every time when I came back. Serection of amenities were very poor, I ended up went to shop HEMA to get some staff.

Room very, very small. It is almost impossible to open both suitcases in the bedroom. For my wife to get her makeup done, I needed to get out of the bathroom. Great location!

Suitable for short stays
When we first arrived at the hotel we were surprised to see it was completely covered in scaffolding, meaning all the windows were covered over. Whilst this wasn’t a massive problem, it was annoying that the hotel hadn’t informed us that it would be like that as we were hoping for a nicer appearance. The staff were helpful and spoke good English, except when it came to breakfast the options were limited and there was no staff circulating the breakfast room, meaning it was impossible to ask any questions. Our room was perfect for a one night stay and we didn’t have any problems with it. Overall the hotel was fine for one night but for any longer it wouldn’t have been as good.

Good time with my daughter and friends,
We stay in Standard room for 4 nights. It easy to go every where the night time also easy to find nice restaurants around, can walk to the Louvre and do some shopping. After you tried to visit can take taxi came back hotel inside Paris about 7-15 Euro. The reception very helpful for me and my Daughter. If I go back to Paris I return to stay there.

Everything was easily walk able. Staff were excellent. The room was really clean and bed was super comfortable. Shower was excellent. Only thing if I was super picky is the Air conditioning needs an upgrade but only noticed it because it was super hot at this time of year.

Amazing location, staff were excellent
Amazing location 10-15 minutes walk from the Louvre, Tuileries Garden and Seine River. There’s great little breakfast/brunch places particularly ‘Sunday in Soho’ which has freshly roasted coffee and amazing food just in the next street. Staff at the hotel were exceptional! Only complaint is the beds are a little firm. Room size is typical of Paris being small, but that’s part of the experience. Overall, we had a great stay!

I was unable to change my reservation from Mercure Paris opera Louvre to Mercure Charles de Gaulle Airport. It was extremely frustrating. it was due to a train strike and a forced change of transportation due to a train strike. It was also with at least 48 hours notice of our return July 9th visit.
