“Better for Business than Pleasure”

We stayed here because it is close to the Austerlitz train station, although it turned out be two metro rides to get there. There's not a lot in attractions around the hotel, a decent restaurant is beside it. They lock the front doors in the afternoon on weekends, which speaks to the surrounding area. You can walk across to Bercy in 10 minutes for a more upscale environment and a nice park. This hotel is oriented towards business users as is seen by the reduction in weekend rates. They do offer free wireless and had a nice computer desk in the room. AS is the case in most places, breakfast is too expensive to bother with at the hotel.

Traveller's tip
The hotel is well served by the #6 metro line. It goes south to Montparnesse and then around past the Eiffel tower, ending at the Etoile Charles de Gaulle. Going the other way crosses into Bercy, from where you can connect to other trains.

“Mercure Paris Austerlitz Bibliotheque Très proche métro”

Situation idéale pour cet hôtel, en face de la station de métro, à 20 m de la Seine et face au POPB, à 2 pas de la bibliothèque F. Mitterrand et du quartier Bercy et de Bercyvillage où l'on trouve bars et restos sympas. Chambres propres, calmes, accueil chaleureux par le personnel. Prix des petits déjeuner un peu exagérés, mais le café à côté les propose à un prix plus abordables. Ce fut un excellent séjour.

Area recommendations
Il y en a tellement, que je ne pourrais pas être exhaustif. Mais la balade, à pied, de l'hôtel vers Bercy Village en passant par la bibliothèque F. Mitterrand me semble sympathique, par contre, le manque de plantations d'agrément dans le jardin de Bercy est particulièrement décevant.

“Hotel in posizione molto comoda per metro, RER ed escursioni fuori Parigi.”

Hotel posizionato in maniera ottimale per arrivo all'aeroporto di Paris Orly, vicino a molte stazioni Gare Austerliz, Lion, Est di Parigi, vicino alla tangenziale ed allo stesso tempo vicino al centro della città, raggiungibile comodamente con la Metrò. Reception molto attenta e disponibile, nonché sempre cordiali. Sicuramente da consigliare per turisti ed anche business.

Area recommendations
Parigi è una città stupenda, tutto il centro è molto vivibile, con attrazioni e divertimenti per tutti i gusti.Il quartiere Latino, Bastiglia ed Operà, sicuramente i più caratteristici e commerciali.
Getting there
Sicuramente viste le dimensioni ridotte dell'aeroporto Paris Orly, lo consiglio come semplicità di arrivo e comodità nei collegamenti.
Must see
Tour di Parigi di sera, ha un fascino ed un atmosfera incredibile.

“Mäßiges Preisleistungsverhältnis”

Vorallem die Matratze war hart und unbequem. Kein totaler Reinfall, aber für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet.

Tutto ok....hotel rinnovato e molto pulito e funzionale...centrale quanto basta e poi con la metro attaversando la strada si va ovunque in poco tempo...lo consiglio!!!!!!!

“Hotel Mercure di Parigi - di fronte alla stazione della Metro 6 (Quai de la gare)”

L'albergo si trova a tre fermate di metro da Place d'Italie. E' pulito e nel complesso consigliabile.

Area recommendations
Montmartre. E' il cuore di Parigi, caratteristico. Sembra che il tempo si sia fermato.

“hotel calme”

hotel bien insonorisé de l'extérieur. avons pris une chambre pour trois personnes ,très confortable.parking trop petit et etroit
