Boutique hotel in nice area
Lovely little boutique hotel in pleasant area near to Metro stops, restaurants, parks. The staff were polite but a little aloof. Our room was just off reception so a bit noisy early in the morning when the reception area is being prepared for breakfast. The library/reception/breakfast area are all one space. Our room was small with no view and the bed and pillows were not comfortable. Maybe the other upstairs rooms were better.

Nice hotel, good location,
Excellent location in a quiet suburb with plenty of good bars, cafes etc around. Well served by Metro and Buses in to the city but at time of writing (Spt 22) metro line 4 is closed most days in the morning. Since the hotel is a little far out from the city its worth noting. Plenty of buses as options. The hotel was clean, decor was nice, service was friendly and responsive to any issues. Only complaint is the room (35) is very small to be sold as a double, really too small. But clean, quiet and nicely decorated with a nice balcony to sit on.

Reliable spot in 14th
Always reliable. Clean, quiet, professional and friendly service. Rooms are typically small but well setup and stylish. Good for travelling and exploring Paris. The local area is residential and commercial, easy to get around with the Metro or a 25 minute walk to left bank. Use the RER train between Denfert-Rocherau and CDG, walk to Montparnasse trains etc. Plenty of local restaurants.

Small and clean rooms, good location, affordable
Affordable prices compared to the rest of Paris. The room was tiny with space only for the bed and not much else. Shower was small and took some time to heat up but was otherwise fine. The Wi-Fi had a lot of dropouts but when it worked it was fast enough to stream Netflix without any issue. The breakfast is not worth the 11 euros they charge per day - it is just cereal and bread. The location is good, just a minute or two walk to the metro station (total time of 20-30 minutes to get to most sight-seeing destinations in Paris, usually have to change trains 1-2 times) and plenty of shops and food options nearby.

Lovely stay, near several awesome bakeries and La Fabrica, where they have the most delicious Margarita pizza I’ve ever had. Very close to the Metro. If you’re coming from the airport it tells you to get off at Denfert-Rouchereau but instead of walking the mile or so with heavy luggage, you can grab the M4 to Alésia and it’s literally a block to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Had a great stay!

Property was lovely and located near many restaurants and the Metro. Staff was very helpful and pleasant no matter what time of day we were coming or going. Comments: extremely small lift and room items like shampoo/conditioner and toilet paper were only refilled when we asked. I’m not sure if that is standard practice in France.

Max was excellent!
We went to Paris to see our son who is studying there for the semester. Staying at Max Hotel put us quite close to his apartment and in a great neighborhood! Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, room was clean, pleasant and quiet, breakfast was good and area had all that we needed along with easy access to everything by metro and RER. Best choice we could have made!

Would come back...
No fuzz hotel with clean modern rooms, good showers and nespresso machines. Metro super close so easy to move around. We didn’t get the breakfast but they had an amazing bakery super close. Lots of restaurant options nearby. If you are picky on noise request a room on the quiet side. We had no noise. Paris has small rooms so expect the same but super functional and nice. We would come back.

This was a 2 nights stay. Hotel is in a perfect location, a short distance from most places and attractions. Neighborhood was great, clean and safe. Hotel staff was great. Room was clean and everything working. I will most certainly go back and recommend.

Nice Boutique hotel located in 14th arr. Have stayed at this hotel on previous visits to Paris. Room a bit cramped and facilities sparse. Staff helpful and breakfast good.

Hotel Max - great find!
Hotel Max was a lovely place to stay whilst in Paris. Slightly out of the centre but easy to get to by metro (stop very nearby) and the neighbourhood felt safe even late at night. Supermarkets were just around the corner. The staff were friendly and they stored our bags for us on our departure day. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better but other than that the room was lovely. Air conditioning was very much appreciated in such hot weather, there was a safe in the room to store our valuables and the bed was extremely comfortable The room was small but that's to be expected in such a city. I would recommend this hotel and plan on staying there on our next visit.

Although on a busy street, nighttime is mostly quiet. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which included cold cuts, cheese and coddled eggs. Rooms are modest in size but very modern and include coffee maker.

Excellent boutique hotel
A very good hotel with modern rooms and nice appointments. Staff were super helpful. It’s a way out from the city center but a short walk from the metro. Will definitely stay at Hotel Max again.
