Pros: Location
Location: Louvre, restaurants and nightlife
It was fine, but the hotel is kind of a maze with all the fire doors

God beliggenhet, god pris

Ellers alt ok. Ligger et steinkast fra Louvre.

Good location, not so-great hotel

Posted 29-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
As it happened, it was raining in Paris in August, and we were very cold. The heater in the room didn't work, and the clerk wasn't very helpful in trying to fix it, saying he's not a technician! He wanted to fix it the next day, expecting us to stay in a cold hotel room for the night! My daughter and I packed up and left. The location is great, right near the Louvre, but the service needs improvement.

Good value in a prime location.

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: The location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small, but condition was good and the bed slept very well.
Cons: The desk chair could be better, and a grab bar in the bathtub/shower would be helpful.
Location: This hotel is about as close to the Louvre entrance as you can get. It is also very close to the Metro and to some very nice cafés. Excellent.
As others have noted, the rooms and corridors are small, but that is to be expected at all but the very best Parisian hotels. The staff was both friendly and helpful and the location could not be better....very close to the Louvre, the metro and to a number of very nice cafés. Despite its size, the room was functional and well maintained. My only complaint was the chair which could have been more comfortable. This is not the George V, but it is an excellent value in a great location.
