Great location

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Location. Clealiness. Bathroom was massive!
Cons: Reception staff
Location: Montparnasse tower very close for great views... Lots of nice eateries near by!
Location was great... Don't have the breakfast - so many cheaper, tasty options nearby. One night we were kept awake til 4am by a party next door (on the Friday - thankfully the Saturday was quieter) Arranging transfer back to airport the gentleman at the desk didn't seem to know what he was doing - they had arranged for our transfer to the hotel so you would think they could sort it the other way round.

Great hotel with one flaw

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, condition, friendliness of the staff, honesty bar, general ambiance.
Cons: Don't know what can be done about the noise. Maybe a room away from the elevator and a high floor would help.
Location: Great location. Close to the Metro. Short walk to to Jardins de Luxembourg & Catacombs (get there early).
I stayed at the Lenox for one week. The location is great, with two subway lines half a block away, and just one stop to a large hub. The neighborhood is lively, with lots of shops and cafes, including some famous ones. The hotel staff all speak English and are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has charm, is nicely furnished and both the room and common areas are well maintained. The buffet breakfast is good, with lots of offerings, and while a bit expensive, food in Paris is expensive generally and breakfast in a local cafe would not have been much less (I checked some menus). The honesty bar was great, and there was complimentary tea and coffee available in the afternoon. The room was small, but that is standard in Paris hotels in this price range. The bathroom was quite large, however, and the room had the usual amenities. The wi-fi in my room was very reliable, with a good strong connection. The TV had a wide range of channels, including some English language news. My only complaint is that the room was quite noisy. The noise came from inside the building, not from outside. The elevator, plumbing, doors to the other rooms all seemed to make quite a bit of noise. For a light sleeper, this can be a problem. I can't say if this is typical of small hotels in old buildings, but it was the case at the Lenox.

Perfect area. One gets the feel of the real Paris

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: The size of the room, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Cons: The bathroom sink could drain a little faster.
Location: Perfect location to view real Parisian life, but close to all the attractions.
The Lenox is situated within a real slice of Parisian life, but has easy access to all the attractions that Paris has to offer. My room was good size, the bed very comfortable with a nice size bathroom. This hotel has a wonderful, knowledgeable staff. A nice assortment of breakfast items to start the day. This boutique hotel is a real gem.

Very close to necessary metros. Friendly staff.

Posted 21-Sep-2014
Pros: It had a little bit of everything. Location was great.
I like this hotel. The staff were very friendly and gave us help when we needed it. Their English is great which is also a plus. Room was a bit small, but since I'm from the US, I'm not really used to that but it was very cozy. The room was quiet. The location of the hotel is PERFECT for traveling anywhere in Paris. Beautiful place and very friendly atmosphere all around. If you want to travel Paris, then this is the perfect place to start. I loved it. Would stay here again if I visit Paris again.

Great Hotel and Great location

Posted 19-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, size of room for Paris, helpful staff, fridge in room and kettle
Cons: Could use more electrical outlets in the rooms for charging devices but overall really not a big deal.
Location: Location is excellent - near Gare Montparnasse and 2 metro stops. Area is full of small restaurants and crepe places.
We stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse for 3 nights this past week. The hotel is extremely well located- close to the Gare Montparnasse, 2 metro stops, bakeries, grocery stores and amazing crepe restaurants. The area is lively and there is even a market nearby of artists exhibiting their work on Sundays. The room was spacious for Paris, extremely clean and included a small fridge and kettle with tea and coffee to have a morning fix. One of the nicest touches was the plastic champagne glasses in the small fridge! The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We have stayed in many other hotels in Paris but we really loved this one and will plan on staying there again the next time we are in Paris.

Pleasant stay in Paris

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Location: Rue de Montparnasse (lots of creperies) - excellent location for breakfast. Metro station Vavin is just around the corner.
The hotel was nice and in very convenient area, close to the Metro and to the little street dotted with creperies - Rue de Montparnasse. The hotel staff is welcoming, and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris, especially if it is for the first time.

Excellent European Hotel With Very Pleasant Staff

Posted 20-Aug-2014
The room was large for a European hotel with a moderate bathroom as well. AC functioned well which is a huge plus for staying in Europe in August. My room had a small balcony that was another plus. Excellent location among plenty restaurants and nearby Metro M4 stop. Although I did not have questions for the day staff, I saw them advising other visitors of where to go and how to get there including making phone calls to check on pricing and availability. My favorite part of the stay was relaxing in the lobby lounge at the end of the day with endless tips from the night desk clerk/concierge. He was more than willing to give me tips on how to enjoy Paris, including researching on his PC to give me printed details and directions. I am terrible with names and have forgotten his.
