“I felt confident in the quality of all facilities and services.”
This is a handy location in Paris, near Montparnasse and less than a block from metro stations on two lines. Hotel itself was clean and well managed. Room was snug but comfortable. It met all requirements of the reservation.
“Great place”
Great staff. Spoke English and met every need. Great location near 3 metro stops.
“Great Location”
Lenox Martparnasse Hotel is in a great location. There are 2 metro stations (Vavin & Edgar Quinet) nearby. There are so many restaurants to choose nearby and have all the conveniences you need within the same street (ie pharmacy, supermarket, laudrymat). We found the staff very helpful and accommodated all our needs. The rooms are small but most importantly, they are clean.
“Friendly, helpful staff”
I spent a two night mid week break at this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. My intial reaction was very positive having been met by a pleasant and helpful member of staff on the desk. We were taken to our room and I was a bit disappointed that the queen size bed I had paid for was indeed smaller than a queen size bed I have stayed in before. In fact it was no bigger than my king size bed at home. The room had an unventilated bathroom with no windows and a shower that overflowed onto the floor. These were minor irritations which I felt needed addressing with the manager. The manager dealt with my complaint immediately by offering us a different room, slightly upgraded for the second night. Perfect!!! Had a great night sleep. The hotel was otherwise fantastic, the highlights being the close proximity to local shops and nightlife, the honesty bar and the free movie channels available. I will definately use this hotel again for future visits to Paris.
“"Good choice to visit Paris"”
Typical 3* hotel. Clean and situated in a nice neighborhood, with 2 metro station near of it.
“Ian & Rose”
Hotel is in a great place 2 small supermarkets in the road for cheap meals / wine etc, bakeries. 2 metro stations (1 at each end of the road - very convenient) cafe's etc but not to busy. On Sat morning Market was held at the end of the street, then on Sunday a artists market - all 3mins walk. Staff were very helpful - 1 of our bags didn't arrive with our flight. The staff helped chase the bag up and as we do not speck french were just great. Room was good size very clean and quiet. Wifi was free and available in our room My only very small issue was that i found the bed hard We stayed 4 nights would stay again.
“Centrally located”
The front desk staff all spoke in Ebglish and were very helpful. Breakfast in the restaurnt was excellent.
“Very comfortable, good location, nothing too much trouble - will go back.”
This friendly hotel met all our requirements and then some. The staff are friendly and welcoming and willing to help with booking trips, restaurants, confirming arrangements outside the hotel. Our room was clean and very comfortable if a little on the small side but having a bath and shower was great as relaxing in the bath after a days hike around the sights was a welcome relief. The honesty bar is unusual but a nice touch as you just help yourself and fill in a slip to say what you have had and give it in to reception - nice way of making your guests relax and feel at home. Various 2 for 1 offers on whilst we were there - drinks and breakfast which proved excellent value - the breakfast was buffet style but refilled frequently and all food fresh and tasty - this really is a good place to stay for a relaxing trip to Paris.
“Great service!”
The Lenox hotel offers great service, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and were able to check in immediately even though we arrived in the a.m. The Lenox is surrounded by 3 metro stations. Edgar Quinet being the closest. We easily took the Edgar Quinet to the Bir-hakeim and walked to the Eiffel tower in 5 minutes. On arrival, we were also able to take the RER B (train) to Denfert Rochereaux and then on to Edgar Quinet and walked less than 5 minutes to the hotel. This saved us a tonne of money in cabs and as long as you don't have much luggage it is easy to get around by metro and train. it was also very easy to get to Versailles via the train. I highly recommend the hop on and hop off bus. We used it the first 2 days and it gave us a good orientation of the city and offered a semi guided tour via headphones so we learned a bit about paris. There are quite a few restaurants/cafes around but not much variety in menu. I was a bit disappointed in the food found in paris in general a bit bland expected more. We did like the Indiana, near gare montparnasse just because it at least had something different than cheeseburgers, sandwiches, salads, the wait staff was also very nice. Overall Paris is a beautiful city, be prepared to walk and the Lenox provides a nice central location that is clean but small (like most paris hotels). The hotel is air conditioned and has a tub including a shower.
“Good place to stay in Paris”
We made the hotel reservation based on Expedia review and it didn't disappoint us. 1) Great location. Many good restaurants within walking distance. 2 Metro stations about 100 yards away. 2 grocery stores and 1 bakery on the same street. 2) Good service. I have requested hotel to schedule shuttle service to pick up/drop off us at CDG airport. Staffs are fluent in English. 3) Room is small like other reviewers mentioned, probably is normal in Paris with the price you pay. 4) Hotel offers 2 for 1 breakfast buffet and free movies during our stay which is nice.
