“A real treat in Paris”

While expensive the hotel is magnificent and the accomodations were spectacular. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as it can be with personalized service where you are called by name. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed.

“One of the best hotels I ever stayed in!!!”

Beautiful hotel. Really enjoyed their restaurant and room service food. Very nice bar with live jazz music at night. Service was impeccable. Location is great - only about 5-10 min walking distance to Louvre. Whenever we are back in Paris, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

“Fantastic location, great staff - loved it”

This hotel is expensive, but you get what you pay for! You can't fault the service - from the doorman, to check-in, to room service, the concierge, the cleaning staff and the barmen - they are all attentive and very friendly. Our room was beautiful - we booked a suite - decked out regally and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right opposite the Tuileries Garden, with all of the main tourist attractions within walking distance - the Louvre to the left, Place de Concorde to the right, Place de Vendome behind. The Eiffel Tower was visible from our hotel room and we even walked over there, although it was a long walk. And this hotel is pet friendly, so if you want your pooch to enjoy Paris in 5-star luxury, then this is the place to come to. We will definitely be returning to enjoy Le Meurice again!

“Jukka Uotila”

This hotel is excellent choice to stay in Paris, if you appreciate good service , higest standard of customer service and good food. Room prices are high , but so is also the standard in every respect. 3 Michelin star lunch (180e) included starters, main course and desert; the Paris menu, with blanc-de-blanc champagne , excelent white wine and desert wine suited to each course.Excellent in general, maybe the chicken is always difficult to get unforgetable excelent, my grading is very good. -Next time I prefer to take some other meat, veal, beef... so the chef can really show what the suberb food actually is! Many thanks; excellent ,enjoyable hotel! ( 2 nights stay , May 2011, room price about 600 e night)

“Christmas in Paris”

Loved our stay at the Meurice, but for one, wee issue. We had a beautiful junior suite...but every morning around 1:30/2am, we were awakened by the sounds of clanging, banging, furniture moving, etc.? I finally realized it likely had to do with cleaning up after bars/restaurants closed (we were on the 1st floor) and we didn't complain to hotel staff about it...but just be forewarned and bring your earplugs. That was quite literally, the ONLY thing that I would have changed.

“It's a charmer......waiting for royalty to walk out.”

The staff is always helpful, the rooms are always kept, the only draw back for us was the location of this room, and being here at fashion week. The staff always tried to accomodate our needs. At the end of the day knowing that we would be returning to Le Meurice was comforting.

Area recommendations
This hotel is in the perfect location. The Louvre is across the street as well as the gardens. We walked Paris everyday that we were there. Shopping was amazing, food was wonderful no matter how close or far from the hotel..At the end of a wonderful day to come back and spend time in their bar was relaxing and always interesting. Ahhhh! I miss it already. Ready for another adventure back to Paris. OUI......
Getting around
We walked all of Paris from our location......and loved the adventure of each area we were in.
Shopping
Depending on how our money is worth.....Paris can be expensive to shop but, there still are bargains to be found. We shopped the Jewish area on Sunday and was pretty pleased with our purchases. Most of the stores in Paris are closed on Sunday.
