Excellent bargain for Disney goers on a budget.

Staff were excellent professional and location was awesome with a regular shuttle. All the services in the hotel were there. Rooms were a bit tight for us 2 parents and 2 small children. Bunk bed was a smart touch which kids loved. Has a bar and a restaurant (20 euro buffet). Building a bit in need of a good Reno but everything worked, looked a bit tired. Highly recommended.

Not worth staying

Posted 17-Jul-2014
Pros: Did not like the hotel
Cons: Improved restaurant and food services
Location: It's all about Disney Land
We really wished we had not stayed at this hotel. It was not worth the money. We had to listen to the elevator shaft go up/down all night from our room, the lobby was old/outdated with old dirty toddler furniture and games in the lobby. The food was terrible - for breakfast you could have bread and more forms of bread. There was absolutely nothing to do at the hotel. For a reference point - if you are not staying at one of the hotel/s on the Disney grounds - you stay at one of the hotels in the surrounding farm fields. Only one of these hotels had a pool. Don't be fooled by the 10 min shuttle ride advertisement. We watched two 54 buses drive right by us with no passengers while many people waited. It took almost an hour to get to the hotel with luggage on a hot day. The staff was nice enough but understaffed. If you had any questions it was waiting in one line after another. Be forewarned there was no "concierge" services. We had questions about Paris and staff really only wanted to help answer question as it was related to hotel. Hindsight, I really wished we had stayed around Paris and taken the train into DL which drops off right at the front entrance of Disney Land - which we didn't understand before arrived.

Good hotel experience

Great location but not well signposted as tomtom only gets you near there. Apart from that great hotel and great bus service to Disney and back.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - stay anywhere by here!!!!!

Pros: The bartender was really nice and friendly - the only highlight of our stay at the Kyriad.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Close to Disneyland with a good shuttle bus service that takes about 5-10 minutes.
Absolute nightmare two night stay. From the moment we were checked in by the unbelievably rude front office girls, it didn't improve. We were a family of 4 travelling from Australia. The 'family' room was tiny - there was no where to put our 4 large suitcases, so they were left in the entrance hall and we had to step over them to get to the bathroom. Little things that just weren't considered like only giving us two towels, despite it being a family room, no bar fridge or coffee making facilities in the room. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable and squeaky. It was also the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in - people were still checking in at midnight and making no effort at all to be considerate of sleeping guests as they made there way to there room. Kids were running up and down the corridor outside our room screaming while we were trying to get our two boys to sleep. And we didn't eat there - we walked in and out of the restaurant after seeing the food on offer at the dinner buffet and ended up catching the bus to the Disney Village for dinner and breakfast the next day. We were on a 4 week tour in Europe and of the many hotels we stayed at, this one was the worst by far.

Base for visiting Disney

Posted 22-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean, quiet and pleasant accommodation. Easy to get to Disney. The shuttle service to Disney was excellent.
Cons: Reduce the queuing for the breakfast hall.
Location: Disney land as well as a trip into Paris using the local railway.
Excellent hotel although queuing for breakfast was a little tedious due to it being half term week for school children.

Cheaper than some but......

Tired, worn and grubby, like most of the Disney hotels. No control over heating or air conditioning in the rooms. There is a control switch but, apparently these are only activated in July so, if you happen to stay on a hot May or June evening you won't be getting much sleep. Windows on ground floor are actually doors so, can't be left open. Walls are paper thin so the door slamming and kids running up and down the halls should take your mind off the lack if air. A 3 star only in the fantasy world of Disney! Oh, take your own pillows, it was like balancing your head on a foam football.

excellent to be in Disney without paying top $$

Posted 26-May-2014
Pros: Safety, quite
Cons: The restaurant has an all you can eat which is quite plain and expensive.
Location: Mall and grocery store
Shuttle comes every 10 mins for a 2 minute ride to the park which is directly at the main train station. Take the train to central Paris or to the airport.
