Nice hotel in central location

Posted 12-Oct-2014
Pros: Metro and train station within walking distance
Cons: Wider variety at breakfast would be nice. Croissants, juice, coffee, cereal and fruit cocktail are okay but are far from being a "buffet" breakfast.
Location: Very centrally located, variety of shopping and dining locations nearby.
We traveled to Paris for the first time in 51 years and needed a central location to act as a base for other day trips we wanted to take (Orleans, Mont St Michel, etc). This hotel was right off a main road and had plenty of choices for eating, shopping and transportation. Rooms are small but clean and quiet.

Bad location. Faulty wifi and showers.

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Location: The location of the hotel is a sketchy as it is closed to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.
The guy at the desk on Sunday evening when was not friendly, although the people in the morning were friendlier. Unlike mentioned on expedia.com, the wifi was not free, and it was not working... I was not even able to connect to expedia.com or the flight schedules of Paris airport as the signal was too slow. In addition, the shower was not working properly. The flow was week and the temperature would range from cold to very hot independently on how you would set the temperature.

Great hotel, location could be better

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The area outside the front of the hotel often had groups of males hanging around which was a bit intimidating at night.
Location: A bit rough! Best thing to do is get a bus into the centre.
Absolutley no compaints about the hotel, but the access from either end of the road was a little daunting at night. Great hotel at a great price, but if you can afford to be a litle closer to the center, do!

Nicer hotel than most near Est & Nord Gares

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Staff was very helpful. Location was great. Our only real complaint was the unreliability of the WiFi.

Convenient for Gare Du Nord railway station.

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable quiet room.
Cons: A lift to both parts of the hotel!
Location: African quarter with some good restaurants/cafes nearby. very, very busy.
Hotel itself was OK, clean, quiet comfortabale room BUT there was only a lift to part of the hotel! Guess which side we were staying in. The Inter-hotel brochure clearly states lift in the hotel - not the case. When we questioned this on arrival wasn't offered another room neither the man on the desk concerned that we were elderly travellers with 2 large cases. Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel convenient to metro and train stations

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Hotel was clean and front desk staff pleasant and helpful. It's very close to both gard d Nord and Est so very convenient. The hop on bus is also close. Overall nice hotel. The wifi was only accessible in lobby and complicated to log in but once in it worked although it was very very slow.

Bad wifi, but roomier rooms/bathroom

Posted 27-Sep-2014
The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, but the wifi service was terrible. We weren't sure if location was in best area, but was very close to Gare du Nord and metros, which was convenient.

Nice stay!

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice little hotel for a weekend stay
Cons: Ability to connect to internet.
Great little hotel, friendly staff, very close to several metro stations. The hotel only allows one device to be connected to the internet per room. Usual policy but there were very clear - didn't actually put it to the test, but suspect the password was only able to be used once!

South Indian food reachable hotel in walking distance Suggestion to the hotel management , please do up the room before the guest arrive .Guest have to wait till they do up the room before entering the room .Please remember the guest have paid for the room in advance for the room they booked .It is not fair to let the guest wait till they do up the room after the guest arrival to hotel
