Nice stay!

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice little hotel for a weekend stay
Cons: Ability to connect to internet.
Great little hotel, friendly staff, very close to several metro stations. The hotel only allows one device to be connected to the internet per room. Usual policy but there were very clear - didn't actually put it to the test, but suspect the password was only able to be used once!

Paris overnight stay

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Easy walk to Gare du Nord and near good restaurants
Cons: A little bit more bike friendly
Location: Good area for restaurants, shops and very nice food market
Hotel was ok. We arrived late and as we could not check our bikes into Eurostar, they were just about happy to accommodate our bikes in the enclosed garden. Room clean an tidy and good value for money. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that.

Very quiet, easy reach of Gare du Nord and centre.

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: The location, the quiet and the staff.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities but also, having booked a specific type of room, I feel this should have been honoured.
Location: Gare du Nord is approx. 10 mins walk, there is a supermarket close by and some nice restaurants and bars.
The hotel was easy to find and the staff very welcoming and helpful. I had specifically booked a triple room with 3 beds but the room had a double and a single; I queried this at Reception where the staff explained that as I had booked via the internet they had no control over the bookings - had I contacted them directly my booking would have been honoured - I would recommend this. On our return at about 1.30 am we could hear loud music and voices from the other side of the road and, as our room was at the front of the hotel, were concerned this would be a problem. However, once the windows were closed we could not hear anything and the black-out blinds and curtains ensured the room remained quite dark so we slept very well. Although it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room it was not a major problem as we were only there for 1 night. As already mentioned, the staff were really helpful.

Cheap and cheerful

Posted 21-Jun-2014
Booked last minute when I wanted a cheap and convenient hotel near the central stations. Could probably have got something cheaper but wanted a decent night sleep and not to be stuck in a dive. The staff were friendly and check in/out quick. Free wifi worked well.

Staff were very good, but room and hotel itself a bit substandard. Lift quite inadequate if you have much luggage. Our room needed a good clean, but bed clean and comfy. Very good position for Gare du Nord.

Sleeping on top of the train

First let me start by saying the staff was friendly, the location to Gare Du Nord convenient, and the hotel was clean. The items you should be aware of are: we could hear the rumble of the train running under the hotel at night; the African bar across the street from the hotel entrance parties well into the morning, and not everyone at the front desk knows how to operate the hotels central air conditioning system.

Good location

Posted 13-Jun-2014
The hotel is at a good location as it was closed to Gare de l'est. The hotel room is nice and looks like the photos. However, the lift is really old and tiny. Before I arrived, I sent an e-mail to ask whether they provide toothbrush or toothpaste which they have said they do but in real, they do not!! The female hotel staff did not seem very friendly but those who work at night were nice. Overall, the quality of room was good and the stay was pleasant.

Hotel is close to small restaurants,laundrymat,grocery,train,bus(42*),and metro stop. We were able to walk to many sites. Breakfast was average, we were able to pick items up at grocery for much less. Loved the windows in bathroom and bedroom-fresh air and light helped the small room. Enjoy!

Great hotel and location for the price.

Overall, I was very happy to stay here. As clean and comfortable as a home, not very expensive. My only complaint is that they advertise free wifi, but you only get free access for one device per room. You need to pay for more. I was traveling with two friends, so we ended up paying for two more accounts.
