Convenient for Gare de Nord

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Pros: Location
Location: Near Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est
Not a bad hotel. We stayed here on our way through Paris both to and from London, and the quality of the rooms varied a bit.

Cheap and great location for Eurostar train

Posted 09-Jul-2015
If you want a hotel close to Gare du Nord then this is only a ten minute walk. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants and cafes with a good variety of food. However the hotel is very basic. No toiletries provided, no tea/coffee facilities and the carpet in Room 116 was stained and dirty. No fan in the bathroom meant a steam room! And the bed is perhaps the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in! Wouldn't go back but good location

Not a bad hotel all in all, good value for the price, especially because of the location

Nice hotel, no air conditioning

Good location, nice staff. The website says the hotel has air conditioning but it does not. beware during summer.

Hôtel charmant et bien situé.

Posted 04-Jul-2015

Excellent location for the train stations

Posted 04-Jul-2015
Pros: The breakfast was good, plentiful and a good variety. The close proximity to the train station, but far enough away to be fairly quiet
Cons: A hot drink facility in the room would have been nice or even a kettle
Location: Lots of places to eat. We chose a nearby pizza/pasta restaurant which was great and the staff were lovely. An undercover market opposite the hotel
Only an overnight stay. We found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The bathroom was clean and surprisingly large. The shower was good. We were a bit worried about the area after reading some reviews but didn't have any problems. A very good choice if you are getting the Eurostar, we would use it again

Bad area

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Pros: Hotel staff, room cleanliness
Cons: More outlets
Location: Gare Du Nord and Gare De l'est are within walking distance.
Hotel itself was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. The part i stayed in didn't have a lift, so I had to drag my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs, but that is to be expected in Europe. Also, only one outlet in my room, which was under a desk, so to use anything, I had to be under the desk. Unfortunately, the area that I stayed in was not a very nice neighborhood. As a female solo traveler, I didn't feel comfortable leaving the hotel at night, let alone leaving the hotel at all. Other than the neighborhood, everything else was good.

Comfortable Hotel in Paris

Near two train stations... Easy to travel to the main sites. Friendly reception staff... Perfect for a room to sleep and wash and travel throughout the day!
