“Location brilliant. Look no further!”
Fantastic hotel, intimate and private. We felt like the only people there. Service second to none. Everyone so helpful. One issue however is the price of food and drink in the hotel, e.g. 18 euros for a small bottle of Kronenburg and 30 euros for a continental breakfast! There is a little shop just a hundred yards up the road heading toward the Seine. Beer, bottle water and snax at normal prices. Also some fantastic pastry / bread shops. So grab a take away and take it back to your room - you'll save a fortune!!
“Definite 2 Thumbs Up!”
This hotel was much better than expected! Rooms were large, clean and tastefully decorated. Stall was excellant and very helpful. The location is perfect. Definitely would stay here again.
“Superb Hotel”
The Pont Royal is not the cheapest hotel in Paris but it was certainly value for money - the room was a comfortable size, well appointed for both the business and leisure traveler and has the added advantage of having a superb Michelin starred restaurant attached with plenty of other restaurant options within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay and the hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Les Invalides etc. We will most definitely be staying at this hotel again.
“Beautiful Hotel”
Yes of course Paris is the most expensive city on Earth now, especially for us with Sterling to spend but who cares when its as immaculate as this. Beautiful hotel, lovely service and its in the best part of town!
“Best stay ever in Paris”
Great hotel in a very convenient location. Easy walking to Louvre, D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Champs Elysee, etc. for the cultural sites, plus many very good restaurants in the St. Germaine des Pres/Left Bank area. Our room was very clean with fresh linens every day. Our room overlooked the street, but we were not disturbed by any noise. Rooms are not very large, but given the location and overall standard, this hotel is quite good value.
“Return Visit”
A good hotel which we stayed at 3 years ago. Still as good as it was then although on a few days the servicing of the room didn't occur until late afternoon. This coincided with our return from trips to Museums ....... etc so it was a minor problem.
“great location for left bank”
well run rooms a bit small but helpful staff and great place to see st germain from ,dont miss musee dorsay !
“great location, friendly staff”
we went away for a romantic weekend and the hotel was fantastic. It's in a great location - 10 min walk from Louvre, d'Orsay, jardins de Luxembourg. It's right in the heart of St Germain too, so there's great nightlife just nearby. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, the room clean and well-appointed. The atmosphere's great - it's where all the grands ecrivans stayed - Sartre, Camus, Hemmingway, etc I definitely recommend this place - you can't go wrong!
