Travelodge/Premier Inn style hotel in Pars.

Posted 16-Oct-2014
Pros: Close to station, clean.
Cons: Air-con should work, Big and Comfortable Bed.
Location: Nearest underground staion is Louise Blanc. Very close to Gurd-de-Est/Nord.
We were staying only 1 night in this hotel. We didn't have high expectation. Our room was given in the 5th floor to the road side. It was very hot, even though we went on mid October. Room itself was very small its not like the one u see in the picture. Double bed itself was small too. Its more like semi-double. Room was clean but again the toilet and shower was very tiny. I saw there was air-conditioning in the room but it was not working. Since, it was very hot, so, I went to the reception asking to fix the air-con. But they said air con is not working in winter only in summer!! They didn't even bother to give me any fan! So, we had to sleep keep our window open, and it was very very noisy all night!!! They have decent tv channel including some english channel. Although we were not interested on TV only decent night sleep would do. If you got a better deal I think its a good hotel to stay since its very close to gurd de nord staion. Make sure u ask for a quite and cool room though :)

Great Location

Posted 09-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, friendliness, security and comfort.
This hotel is across the street from Line 7 of the Metro, with a direct route to the Louvre and many other sights. The front desk staff were very helpful, going beyond the ordinary in helping to respond to my tourist questions. The halls were quiet in the morning, even though staff were already cleaning rooms, but not trying to force me out of mine ahead of check-out time. Even the kitchen staff were accomodating, leading me to facilities instead of just pointing. On arrival and departure, my luggage was stored in a secure location, without charge, before check in and after check out times. I felt as though I was with family.

Good value near Gare du Nord

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Pros: The rate, and location
Cons: Some ice available to guests would be nice.
Location: It's Paris - use your imagination.
Reasonably close to Gare du Nord (& Gare De l'Este), but look carefully at the map, or you may walk more than is necessary. No ice in rooms (or from front desk) which is a bit unexpected if you are used to North American hotels. I got a very good rate, so overall a positive experience for a hotel in central Paris.

Comfortable and nice

The hotel is right next to Louis Blanc metro station. Small but comfortable room, really nice terrace with view to the street. The neighborhood is not the best at night but still safe. Ok for 3 stars

Unatractive lobby, rooms and overall. Staff unhelp

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: Staff, amenities.
Location: Unatractive location
Staff could not resolve that my booking was made for the day after the actual arrival by mistake despite availability. They charged me for the extra night and no refund for the non used night the day after.

Last minute emergency... was a pleasant stay!

Posted 29-Sep-2014
I needed something fast, cheap, simple and accessible. Got that and more: clean, friendly, and a nice location. I'd stay here again but I think it's a better place for short visits. I want more out of a hotel for longer stays.

not like the pics!

Posted 19-Sep-2014
Reception was v nice, nice decor and clean. Rooms had wood chip wall paper, were tiny and dirty. The bathroom had 1 tiny bottle of shower gel and that was it. The room came with a kettle and 2 tiny paper cups. Halls dated and tired. The breakfast was bleak and not well replenished when items ran out. Overall disappointing and I wouldn't reccomend

Very presentable budget hotel with good transport

Posted 26-Aug-2014
This is a great hotel for a low budget price. Very friendly helpful staff and clean modern rooms. I hound the beds very comfortable . It's very near the metro and two main stations for links to the city and the aero port. We did struggle a little with restaurants near the hotel and I'd recommend going back into the city for a meal unless you like Japanese or Indian. Although there's some friendly bars with food during the day. If be happy to stay there again.
