Bon emplacement

Posted 03-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
Une chambre très petite 13m°, une literie très mauvaise et un petit déjeuner succint un morceau de pain, un croissant, un jus d'oranges qui n'a d'orange que la couleur et une boisson pour 10€ c'est cher payé. Par contre bon accueil.

Posted 16-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
Tvungen att flytta till bekvämare rum. Frukosten s.k. Continental passar inte till Tre stjärniga hotellet, det borde vara typ Buffe. Fö bra hotell, bra lägge, flera restoranger, butiker, utmärkt bra service.

Hotel Gambetta, Parisian Charm

Posted 30-Aug-2013
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, and always available. It was close to the metro and city bus. There are many good places to eat and walk to.
Cons: It was on a noisy street, a fan would help block out the noise, it was very hot and we had to have our windows open. It was very difficult to sleep.
Location: Gambetta neighborhood , the famous cemetery was a stones throw away, a must see.
The Staff was very helpful, eager to help with directions to sights, WiFi use, etc. The room was small and clean, but traveled in August and found the room very hot.To cool the room off you must open the large windows to the street, which quickly fills the room with the bustling sounds of Paris. The room echo's the sounds of dishes clinking, Parisians partying and taxis coming and going. You can even hear fist fights that break out in the night. For a moment it is romantic, but quickly fades to annoyance. A small fan would make the hot nights more tolerable. Still , the experience was one I would never forget, and enjoyed our stay besides the noise from the streets. The staff was terrific, and you are conveniently located to the metro and the bus the 69 that goes to major attractions. There are plenty of good cafe's and the cemetery is a block away and a must see.

Authentic

Posted 26-Jun-2013
Pros: Location, functional, clean, helpful, friendly staff.
Cons: Hand held European shower with short hose.
Location: Alive with authentic local life. Many places to eat. Wonderful Saturday market nearby. Close to town hall on World music Day meant huge street party.
Comfortable, very Parisian, well situated near Metro, modern bathroom. Friendly staff. We were there four nights and were entirely satisfied. Close to the town hall, cafes, restaurants. Has a sense of being among real French life.
