Small room, modern deco, close to The Louvre

Posted 12-Jan-2015
Room was pretty small. We were on a 3 week vacation traveling Asia and had 2 large pieces of luggage which barely fit into the room. Location was good, close to restaurants and shops and attractions. Staff was helpful. Room was quite and you did not hear street noise. Internet was slow. Stayed in Jan and was not able to turn on ac. Hotel informed me that system was set to heating. Room was too warm so had to open window to cool room.

I had a grand time staying here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very professional. Although my room was small, it was cozy and well appointed. I will definitely reserve here in the near future!

Decent Hotel

Posted 24-Dec-2014
I stayed here for 7 nights during my Paris trip. The location was really good as it was pretty central so it was fairly easy to get around. The room however was small but it had a minimal and futuristic look to it which I appreciate. The staff were friendly and were helpful. The only big issues I had about this hotel was that the wifi was really bad, it would often disconnect and reconnect from time to time. Additionally, there was two false Fire drill that went off during the middle of the night while I was sleeping, both on different nights! This definitely left a bad impression for me. If you are someone who sleeps in early and don't like to be disturbed in the middle of the night then this probably isn't a good hotel for you. That's my two cents.

Design boutique hotel with excellent staff

Posted 22-Dec-2014
Its location and extremely helpful staff made my stay in this little hotel a very pleasant one. It is a design hotel which might not be for everyone; the rooms are small but efficient as every inch of space is utilized. They are indeed soundproof, and as my room (#55) was facing the interior courtyard, I did not hear anyone or any traffic noise. Whatever the shortcomings of the rooms, the excellent staff make up for them. The safe in the room is not big enough to accommodate a laptop but the hotel can store it in its bigger safe; no coffee making facilities in the room itself but the guests can get as much free coffee/tea from the machine downstairs as they want; no in-room fridge but I was able to keep my soy milk in the bar's large refrigerator, etc. In further praise of the staff: they contacted me by phone the day I made my booking over Expedia to ask me for my choice of room colour as well as to get my details for the airport pickup I had requested. They kept in touch over email until my trip, promptly answering whenever I had a question or an additional request. If you like minimalist design and central location, and prefer a personalized service (and at least some dose of friendliness in Paris), this hotel is for you. If you don't care for any of these, you can find cheaper alternatives.

Awesome Hotel for Tourists

Posted 17-Nov-2014
Pros: Location, price, minimal size of the room and service.
Cons: We thought the heating unit was broken. It didn't bug us much since it was cold out so we had the window open most of the time even while we slept.
Location: Close to various restaurants and the Metro/RER for transportation. All tour sites are within walking distance.
My husband and I didn't want to stay in any major hotel brands since we knew that we will spend most of our days out exploring the city. We found Hotel Odyssey and fell in love with their artistic concept. It was a perfect place for a minimalist since the entire room only had the essential features needed for sleeping, showering and relaxing. If you're looking for a lot of walking room, then this place might not be for you. There are plenty of restaurants within a walking distance from the hotel so you have plenty of choices for meals. The hotel is located close to the Metro/RER so your transportation options are endless. It's in the heart of the touring locations so that was a big plus. The employees at the hotel were awesome. They're very nice and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we loved the hotel and would recommend it. We will stay there again when we come back next time.

Spacig klein aber fein SUPER LAGE

Posted 03-Nov-2014
Pros: design personal sauberkeit

Posted 23-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
