The hotel was great! the staff really kind and spoke english. Room was very high up and theres no elevator which was hard to do after a long day. But the location is great and the room was clean and tidied everyday we were there. Only real negative is that you have to give the hotel key back every time you leave which is strange. But great overall

Not ideal.
Reception staff ok..not much English spoken so it was difficult to communicate. Key has to be given in each time you leave the building. Our room was on the 5th floor and there is no lift at the property so we had to climb up and down the stairs with suitcases. We had no hot water at all during our stay. Bed is like a rock and the duvet is actually a very thin blanket so was cold. I do understand it is a cheap property but I still expect hot water and a duvet.

While this hotel is very cheap and close to Montmartre, you in short, get exactly what you pay for. We ended up on the 6th floor with no life, the shower was an absolute joke, there was a heatwave and we had no air con or even a fan so we had to keep the windows open to the noisy road and even then it was sweltering warm. Furthermore, at some point housekeeping took our extra pillows for reasons unknown to us. The water in the sink didn’t get properly cold, the water in the shower didn’t get properly hot. It would’ve been okay for just a couple of days but wasn’t very great for a week...

The walk up is very small to the rooms, the odor from the bathroom sewer system over powered the room the smell was unbearable, on one of the days the housekeeping staff he didn’t get to the room to clean it until 4 pm at that time I just refused because it was near our dinner time

I never see like this hotel it is rubbish very old carpet and rooms are very bad smell and toilet close to bed and not working properly and no hot water many times we are shawer cold water when I check online everything looks good but in side it's wrong so I say no one leave this hotel.

Great location
This Hotel is amazing. The location is near, if not in Downtown Paris, and you are on a road with a shop a few meters away, and a McDonald’s right across the street. The Hotel isn’t large, but size here doesn’t matter. The Service was amazing (there were multiple Receptionists, they were all amazing) even though we waited for our room for roughly 20-30 minutes because we came early, the second floor (where the Receptionist Desk is) had magazines, newspapers, toys for children, and a nice view of the street. Once in the room (we booked a three bed room) it was a regular sized room, with a nice bathroom. Everything about the Hotel was clean. They even had Breakfast. Other things are there is this little kids play area between the 2nd and 3rd Floors I recall. It was basically a few feet by a few feet platform. This hotel is an easy 3 Stars, in my opinion, it easily deserves 4 Stars.

Nice location
Hotel stuff was very friendly. The location was the reason I chose this hotel - two subway stations in walking distance; Gare Du Nord was 8-10 minutes walk. Sacre Coeur is 5 minutes walk. Lot of choices for food/grocery. I would definitely visit again.

Service and thé people were awsome but everything else was awfoul. The shawer cabinets were broken in both rooms. We changed the room because ti wasnt possible to take a shower correctly

Did not like property at all. Very loud yelling and shouting all night long. Loud music played until 4:00am. No a/c and no Elevator. Had to carry bags up four Very narrow winding floors. Rooms was tiny for four people.

The hotel was farther from Gare du Nord than stated especially pulling luggage. The hotel reception is two flights up then rooms are farther up, and the stairs are circular. Some rooms are not very big. Bathrooms are small and the water can be scalding if you don't take care. Breakfast was a big disappointment, coffee, juice, a croissant and baguette/butter per person for an additional cost. The staff were nice and helpful but the hotel was a disappointment.

The Hotel is in a good and convenient area, 5 min walk from Sacre Ceur Church . Bakery and grocery store is right there. Now Customer service was THE BEST Saaid( hope spelled correct) was soo welcoming, friendly , informative and carrying!!! Made us feel home! Thank you soooo much from all od us!!!!

Well-located and the room was descent for its price. However, the bathroom did not have proper ventilation so it remained moist. The smell coming from the bathroom diffused throughout the whole room.

CHAMBRE 407 À ÉVITER L'image ne correspond pas à la chambre de l'hotel louée. La chambre était improvisée: deux espaces fusionnée dans un seul, Le planché n'était pas horizontale. On avait l'impression que le lit glisserait. La tête de douche n'avait pas de fixture. On a parlé au réceptionniste: il a rien fait pour régler le problème! On n'a pas remarqué l'existence d'un système de ventilation dans la salle de bain. La toilette (le plastique) bougeait: une vis coupée. Pas d'armoire pour placer les vêtements. Pas de fer à repasser. Pas de machine à café. Le seul équipement était un abat-jour. La télé était miniscule, installée très haut. Le système de chauffage fonctionne très bien. Une très bonne boulangerie et un agréable mini-market se trouvent dans cette rue. La station de métro Barbés n'est que 5 min à pied de l'hotel et la station Gare du Nord facilement accessible (15 min à pied). JE NE COMPRENDS PAS POURQUOI« EXPEDIA» ACCEPTE DE VONDRE DE TELLES CHAMBRES À CES CLIENTS.

Railfan European outing from the US.
Small, basic, walk-up property. Friendly and accommodating staff. Near metro #4 (Barbes Rochechouart) note..long uphill walk from North Station(Gare du Nord) Room basic, good bed and linens, table, chair, TV Local channels, good heat did not see AC. Private Bathroom with shower. Towels and floor mat only. Room and overall property clean. As I stated a basic property in a commercial residential area local bakery sandwiches confectionery, drinks next door, 2 doors down grocery store, pharmacy across the street. I would stay again my only concern would be in the summertime if there was no air conditioning. Price is Right.

Basic but fine
Very basic room, but if you're simply looking for somewhere to sleep and get a shower its fine. The location was good, 10 minute walk from the Eurostar station and a few minutes from the Metro. The staff were friendly and happy for us to leave our bags there for a few hours on the day we checked out.

Nice welcome & checkin, room was a good size, ensuite clean. But after a couple nights we were covered in bed bug bites. Needs to be bug bombed. Other than that, was a good location with a supermarket handy next door.

It was actually better than I expected. While at the check-in, the lady greeting us was a bit pushy and impolite, the other two gentlemen at the reception were very accommodating. The location is good - 10 minutes by foot from Gare de Nord and within a walking distance from the many attractions in the Montmartre area. The room was clean. It could be a bit better kept, but it is my only negative comment as far as it is concerned. The price is high, but this is one of the terms when staying in Paris, in the end.

Good for a stopover, central location close to trains, restaurants and the Sacre Coeur. Tall but no lift. On the 6th floor we had a view of the SC and the Eiffel tower from our balcony.

Clean, Comfortable and Cheap
Close to all metro lines, easily accessible from Gare Du Nord. Rooms can be too hot at night and windows don’t always open fully due to the curtain rail. Try not to be too noisy like we were and got complaints on our first night for disturbing others. (Sorry about that) Lots of friendly staff, very knowledgable of the local area and where to go. Would stay here again.

It has 1500 very small stairs, the aisles are smaller than a plane (carry on was hitting the walls). The room was clean but very disappointing (no AC and a fixed heater that was not enabled). The bathroom was new at least. We asked for a double bed and an extra bed for our kid and we got 4 mini beds (one person tight) one beside the other. NOTE: when we left, a RAT exited the main door after us.

this is a cheap hotel on the outskirts of Paris in not a great neighborhood. we arrived late, the front desk person wasn't particularly kind or accommodating. the room seemed clean but the bathroom smelled of horrible mold. you can hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the entire hotel, especially the rooms on your floor. the best part was waking up early the next morning and realizing they had kept my passport at check-in. when i tried to go get it back, i was told "we never keep passports". i had to beg them to check and surprise! it was in the top drawer. thank god. you get what you pay for here - but pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Hotel was clean enough. Extremely basic, location was grand. We had ants in our bathroom and on our second night a mouse ran through the large gap under our door. It ran straight back out when we screamed, moved rooms the following night to a nicer room.

Great budget option, friendly staff
We wanted an affordable place to stay within walking distance of the main attractions and found this to be the perfect match. It is conveniently located in Montmartre, minutes from the Basilique Sacré-Coeur, Moulin Rouge, café des 2 Moulins. We ended up walking to champs elysees, arc de Triomphe, champ de mars, Eiffel Tower, Louvres, etc and back. It's a great way to see Paris and there always a nice boulangerie/patisserie to stop for a little treat break. Room was simple and clean, communal kitchen is great, staff was super friendly and helpful. Room not really soundproof but for the price, this is a great deal!

Awful hotel with a room that smelled like a sewer
The drain in the shower in my hotel room had stink coming out of it that smelled like sewer. I inquired to the hotel management on duty 3 times on 3 different occasions and they didn't do anything about it. They wouldn't give me a new room either. I had to close the bathroom door and leave the window open in the bathroom so that the stink could vent outside instead of into the room.

Horrible on all levels
So we arrived at this hotel for a night stay in Paris and thankfully it was just one night. This place is not good enough for a half an hour stay let alone a full night stay but we managed. At some point I began to wonder if staying on the steps of the Gare Du Nord overnight would have been better than this horrendous hotel I had to pay for and I'm guessing that would have been better. Nonchalant staff, no elevator, the tiny television in the room did not work, to get on the "free wifi" you had to almost enter your blood type and mother's maiden name to get through...the codes were so long. Beds were sub-par, bathroom meh, basic breakfast was worse than basic, bread and coffee (that's it) I mean even if I wished a place on my worst enemy in my worst nightmare it wouldn't be as bad as this. AVOID AT ALL COST. You have been warned.

The hotel is perhaps not in the very best neighborhood,but I never felt unsafe. 2 minutes from the Metro and a nice stroll to such places as the Mouln Rouge and Sacre Coeur.The staff was amazing,friendly and very helpful.By the time I am writing this,the hotel should be completely remodeled and refurbished.There is no lift/elevator and a trip to the 6th floor will get you in shape for the Sacre Couer steps...but the reasonable rates more than make up for it.
